Elegantly crafted both physically and ethereally. I have read all of this author's book. The subject matters are approached with a distant remoteness, and at the same time with such emersion as to give them a relevance that is quite personal to the reader. I especially enjoyed the selection on Charlton Heston. Mr. Foss writes as though he were actually there. Whether "Bending Spoons", or perhaps more aptly, drawing straws, it is at the very least- super fantastic. I would buy this product again if even it were free.

Five stars because it has five-line poems, lots of them.
This book seems to have been created by the tattooed author out of pure TV injections into the vein. Mr Foos is a conceptual artist from Baltimpore living in New York. In this funny and elegant and energetic book he has formed poems of various lengths groupped into series -- and all the words come from TV: it's like watching 5 sitcoms and 55 infomercials all in reverse and all at the same time. That's why I think it's okay to tell you that it's also cheaper and quicker to get it from the small publisher that put it out there, if you can find them. Fun and action-packed conceptual poetry? I guess it's possible.
