I liked this beautiful skirt on the picture. Tall thin lady.I am short 5'2 size L it didn't look good on me.I had to return it. :(

If this came with a sash, it would be exactly what I was looking for! It is beautiful though and I’m very happy with it anyway. There are 3 layers to this, the outer layer is satin and has POCKETS! The under layers are netting/tulle (to add dimension to the hang of the skirt), and then a liner/slip. It is beautiful on and very comfortable to wear. I am 5’3” and had to hem (of course) but the most I cut off was 3.5” not the 7” noted in some reviews. My only wish is that this came with a sash as it would be that much more versatile.

Bought for my daughter. It’s a very nice skirt, seems well made. Fit nicely. But it’s really loud! Perhaps I missed it in the item description, but I was surprised that it has a crinoline underskirt. It does have pockets, and falls right at the ankles (she’s 5’6”)

I needed a gown for a black tie event and I’m not someone who normally dresses up. On top of that, it had to be ball gown length because I cannot wear heels due to a recent ankle surgery. I found this on Amazon MUCH cheaper than the company website and ordered the taffeta version. It arrived today and it is absolutely perfect! I’m 5’5.5” tall and it precisely hits the floor as if it were tailored just for me. There is just enough crinoline to make if puff out, but not too much. This can be paired with a variety of tops to make it super fancy if needed. It will definitely be my go-to item of clothing for any future fancy events!

Doesn't fit. Way toooo long for petite. Having difficulty returning. Worst purchase I ever made.

To small!!!

Oh my goodness it was beautiful and the crinlin under skirt and soft top pleat made it elegant and stylish. I returned the skirt I bought from Nordstrom's because you could not tell the difference. Fit perfectly true to size and steamed so easily. Wore to a formal wedding and got so many compliments.

This is a pretty, formal looking skirt. Looks better on tall, slender figure.It does make a lot of noise when moving around.It also is shipped tightly wrapped, so take some time to take out wrinkles and fluff and shape the tulle back up

It fits at the waist and flares enough over the hips and thighs not to accentuate them, without becoming too full. The fabric falls beautifully to the perfect length on my 5'6" frame. It will go beautifully with a velvet top and simple jewellery. I am delighted with it!Might wear it to a fall or winter wedding, or to evening parties, or to the opera/ballet.

To long for my hight

Great quality, feels and looks expensive. I used it as a shirt to wear with a body suit I wore to my dark themed wedding. Highly recommend! I’m size 13/14 pants, 5’7, size xl womens shirts and the Large fit high up on my waist. I wore an extra tule skirt under it to make it poof more. I’m so happy I bought this !!

I was delighted to find this skirt on Amazon. I purchased tops and jackets in this range on a recent visit to the USA but nowhere had the skirts in stock. The item is exactly as described. The fit around the waist and hips is perfect. I buy USA 8 petite. The elasticated section on the rear waist band adds to this feeling of comfort. No one wants to stand or sit through a long formal occasion feeling like they cannot breathe and as as though they have been trussed up like a turkey. I love the fact that it has pockets, I only wish more designers would build these in. If I have one criticism, as other reviewers have commented the garment is way too long for short petites. As I expected this garment to be a workhorse for me over the next few years, the colour and style meaning that I can pair with many different tops, for a large number of formal occasions I will be attending I will pay to have it shortened by a professional. However, given the exorbitant cost of alterations, the length might have forced me to send it back if I was buying this for a 'one off' event. Please designers and manufacturers, offer alternative lengths. I haven't deducted a star for this as the skirt in every other respect this is a brilliant find.
