Buddy Bison's Yellowstone Adventure (National Geographic Kids)

I live near Yellowstone now and sent book back to 6 year old nephew to explain where I loved the books characters and learned something about the park then a few days later I sent him a text of actual bison IN Yellowstone now he wants to visit!!

BUDDY is so smart and fun teaching childern what maked foot prints around the poop . My Great Graddaughter CAN'T wait to BE in YELLOWSTONE toLook for ? THAT'S RIGHT .

My 3 and 5 year old both enjoyed the book. I bought to help prepare them for our Yellowstone trip. I wished there were more features and facts/science covered in the book though.

My grandchildren can't wait for their vacation to Yellowstone National Park, and they read this book every night before bed! They can't wait to meet Buddy Bison. I Love this book!

Purchased the book for a 4 year old visitor to Yellowstone.

The kids love it and can learn from it. Great way to get them excited for the summer adventure!

Disappointed that they used a large cartoon bison in the book and had few actual pictures or science. It made it look like kids could go and hug a real bison which is of course NOT something they should do. I had to explain to my kids that this bison was fake and they should not go up to one once we got there. It would have been nice if there had been more science and description of Yellowstone.

We bought this to introduce Yellowstone to our 3 year old before our trip. She loved the story almost as much as our six year old ( that was a pleasant surprise). When we got there they both were spouting off facts about bison and the hot springs like they were experts. The only issue is the story feels like it's missing some pages. The kids didn't mind but as an adult reading it for the 600th time, you feel like you missed a page everytime you are reading it.
