I love this hat!That being said it is everso slightly larger than expected but I don't care!I last brought a size 7-1/2 which is L bit I found it wearable but slightly tight so went up to this at size 7-3/8 which is XL and as said, tiny bit large, but you can always use a strip of felt to pad it out.I love it and I'm just about to purchase another but in black this time.Edit;Well I'd buy a second hat, in black as I said, it's just as good as my green one but I found they made a size for my odd sized head so the original one is great but the new one is fantastic, these are well made, robust hats. As you can tell I love them, will buy another when the finances allow 5*

This is my second BotVela cap, the fitting is perfect. To give a good comparison, an XL BotVela is bigger than an XXL King Ice. It's millimetre accurate (I did the string thing to measure it) and I think BotVela will now be my go to in capsA word about the colour. I got the orange and was expecting a pale terracotta . . . this thing is ORANGE, like juicy orange. Might fade over time, until then I'm going to have to brighten up my wardrobe to matchUnlike my other BotVela, this has no lining, so I reckon this is my new summer cap

Well, if it's not too hot it'd be alright.What it lacks is any vetilation - not a single eyehole anywhere to let some air in.Comsequently the head gets hotter and hotter and the hat itself from sweat gets wetter and wetter.Taking a winter hat design , making it from cotton and calling it a summer hat -nah, rubbish!I've given it 1 star as it'll still be usable in the autumn but fo now I've bought a well-ventilated one from a shop where I could see it before buying.

This was supposed to be XL.. 7 7/8.. it’s tiny, I doubt it would fit a child’s head. Very disappointing as the quality looked good.

The hats are nicely made and lightweight. Got them for my brother, who had a head 56.5cm in circumference (at an angle a hat would sit). I got the 7-7 1/8 (small) and the navy and green ones fit fine, but the khaki one was too tight. I returned that and got one size up 7 1/4-7 3/8 and that fit fine.

Quick delivery. Ordered large originally but it was too big. Returned and ordered medium. Easy returns process and quick delivery again on new order. Medium fits perfectly. Very happy customer and recipient is delighted.

Light colour light weight no lining but decent build sits very low or flat compared to other similar size style in heavy winter cloth, like the cap.

Thought the cap was really well made and it is all cotton but unfortunately it didn’t suite my husband.
