Fantastic Barefoot Shoes!
I was excited to receive these new barefoot shoes after watching some informative YouTube videos about how effective they can be on your feet. Today I wore them for the first time and after widening up the laces a bit, I'm pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these are - like walking on a cloud! Surprisingly these feel fantastic on my feet, unlike Vibram's Five Fingers that I tried to wear many years ago. I've been wearing Skechers wide width for almost 2 years and my feet have naturally started to adjust to a wide fit. When I wear regular sneakers now they are just too tight! So getting into these Whitin barefoot shoes was a natural transition. I was expecting to break these in over time, as some have suggested, but I have very little to no pain. For the price, these are of amazing quality. I appreciate the wide toe box promoting a natural gait. These are also perfect for weightlifting at the gym! I love how I'm building strength in my feet, ankles, and legs. I also am starting to enjoy the feeling of different textures depending on the floor, whether that be concrete, pavement, or trail. I highly recommend them!

Great shoes, but no half size options
Overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. These shoes offer an excellent ground feel, sturdy construction, and reasonable traction, which are perfect for my training needs. However, I do have one main complaint: the lack of half-size options. As a result, I had to go half a size down from my regular size. While my left foot fits fine, my right foot feels a bit tight, with my toes almost touching the edge, especially when using the insole.Despite this sizing issue, the shoes perform well and are comfortable for short training sessions. If you're considering these shoes, keep the sizing in mind, and you might need to experiment with the fit.I hope Whitin will offer half-size options in the near future.

Barefoot Bliss: The Perfect Shoe for Every Adventure
I’ve been on a relentless quest for the ultimate shoe, trying countless pairs from budget-friendly to high-end. I can confidently say that I’ve finally found it. These barefoot shoes are nothing short of revolutionary. From the moment I slipped them on, I was hooked. Indoors, they feel like walking on clouds. It's as if I'm barefoot, but with the added benefit of protection. The sensation is pure bliss. But don't be fooled by their delicate feel – these shoes are built for adventure. I've taken them on hikes that would put many dedicated hiking boots to shame, and they've exceeded all expectations. The grip is incredible, providing ample traction on uneven terrain. And while they offer minimal cushioning, it's the perfect amount. The soft rubber sole allows you to feel the ground beneath your feet, providing a unique sensory experience that’s both invigorating and grounding. One of the most surprising benefits is the foot massage-like sensation I get when walking on rocky surfaces. It's like nature's own reflexology treatment! The rocks provide gentle pressure points, relieving tension and invigorating my feet. It's an odd thing to say, but I actually look forward to walking on rocky trails just for this reason.I was so impressed that I ended up buying five different colors! I simply can't get enough of these shoes. If you're tired of sacrificing comfort for style or performance, look no further. These barefoot shoes are the perfect blend of all three. Trust me, your feet will thank you.

WOW
UPDATE: still wearing that pair from 2019 even though my feet are bigger, so this time bought the red in an 11. Slightly different shoe. the fit is most excellent and super comfy, but these have lacing and velcro tab, slightly different tongue. The velcro tab isn't long enough for my high instep. If I was rating these it would be a 4.5 for that reason. The inner insole long ago died on the original pair, but the outer sole looks great. Expect these to last as well and long. Okay, about size. I wear men's shoes as there aren't a lot of choices for women's size 11. But size is an amazing thing and have men's shoes ranging from size 9 through 10 - european sizes from 42-45. So went with the 9.5 and they fit great! As I wear moccasins a lot around the house and in the yard, am used to "barefoot" walking, but Mocs aren't really great on gravel, rubble strewn trails or for clambering up rocks where you want that grip of a lugged sole. These shoes cover than beautifully. They also deal with getting wet better than the mocs do. Did find a bit of an irritation forming on the inside of my foot down by the heel, but that was dealt with by just sliding one of those leather heel protectors inside my sock. Think its because these are cut lower than I'm used to wearing. They are not as cool on the feet as a pair of sandals, but again, its a trade off for the comfort of not getting small stones kicked under my feet to irritate and rub as I walk along. The sole isn't thick enough to keep you from feeling rocks you might step on, like your heavy hiking shoes might, but its a lot better than stepping on one of those things just wearing moccasins and having only a thin piece of leather to protect your foot. How long will they last? now that's the great question. They seem well made, but how much to expect from that price? Even if I wear them everyday, if they get thrown out after a month, they are too expensive. If they can make it through 6 months, I'll be pleased. So far, I'm a week in.

Muy buenos, justo lo anunciado
Ya llevo semanas utilizándolos y no tengo ninguna queja. Tal vez las agujetas están muy largas, pero es casi irrelevante.

Great Barefoot/Minimalist Shoes!
I love these shoes! I have had such a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet well. The wide toe box on these fit me great. When looking into barefoot/minimalist shoes I quickly realized that they are incredibly expensive. These shoes are a good price. They are zero drop and very flexible. They really do check off all of the boxes for a minimalist shoe. Now the couple of things that I don't like. These are not major issues more just some things that I am not a huge fan of. 1) the insoles are very thick and padded. They are actually around 9mm thick and even have some arch support. This is pretty much against everything that you are told to look for in barefoot shoes. Luckily with the insoles removed these are great. The stack height gets reduced down to 7mm with the insoles removed (including the treads which are around 3mm deep) which is pretty good. Now for issue 2) this is a minor one but the glue that holds the sole to the shoe is very visible around the edges. This is not a big deal but it would look better if this glue was not visible. It might be more visible because I bought black shoes and the glue is white but I believe it should be less visible overall. With all that being said I love these shoes. They are wide, comfortable, very flexible and breathe well. I will definitely be buying more when I need too. So far I have over 60km of walking in these shoes over concrete, gravel, mulch, mud and even some climbing over fallen trees and they have been great the whole time.

nice looking shoe it is more of a slipper than anything else it will probably work well as a water shoe this summer. not for wide feet. fit well for me sz 14. not much for cushion you feel lots good traction though. for the price see how long they last it seem to be good deal to me.

Great Value. No complains
For transition into barefoot shoe this is great and if i wanted to go full barefoot i can just remove the sole. I am usually 10.5 and went with 11, went for a walk on concrete and no leg pain issues. Feels like i am wearing a shoe socks lol quite a weird feeling but its comfy so no complains. Also just a FYI dont go with the 1_black variants as they tend to rip apart around the toes since its just a full mesh. The 2_light blue, 2_blue, 2_green, 2_black gum should last much longer since there is additional support to the mesh. I found this out from a youtuber called "Paul the Backpacker".
