Clear Table Top Epoxy Resin Coating for Wood Tabletop - 2 Quart Kit

I had initially been skeptical of this product seeing as there were many similar negative experiences. However, there were more positive ones so I thought I'd give this resin a shot. I should have listened to the negative reviews. I am very disappointed with this product in comparison to other resin brands I have used and tried.Cure Time:The instructions say it takes 72 hours/3 days to cure. It has been nearly 5 days and the resin has not fully hardened yet and I mixed the ratios perfectly. I have never had an issue mixing my resin improperly, so it's not a user error.Air Bubbles:There are so many air bubbles that are impossible to pop! No matter how much heat is applied via blow torch, lighter, matches, they WILL NOT POP! The epoxy is SO thick that it barely could come out of the bottle. Mixing was a hassle, and because the overall product was thicker than most resins, the larger bubbles could not rise to the top to be popped. RUINED my projects.Color:The epoxy and hardener are clear. However, when mixed together and after curing (or as cured as it can get after 5 days), there is a yellow hue to it. The resin does not cure clear. If you are using this for a totally clear coat or project, don't expect much from it.Odor:This is the strongest smelling resin I have ever used and I wore a mask while using it. Even after days of curing, there is still a strong odor to the resin.Overall, unhappy and disappointed with this resin for my projects. It may work well for larger projects like tabletops, etc, but does not work well for small molds like coasters, jewelry, etc. If you plan to use this for small projects, I do not recommend it. I am returning this product and will hopefully receive a refund despite using a small portion of it already.

Went on smooth, used a heat gun to remove bubbles and dried hard and crystal clear. Will be a repeat customer.

I was a bit hesitant and nervous to use this product on my very expensive project. First I made sure the room was set at 80F for 2 hours before, with the epoxy warming up to that room temperature. I then used the 1:1 ratio, mixed for 5 minutes making sure to scrape the bottom and sides well, and poured. I used a heat gun to diminish most of the air bubbles. If you look closely, you can see the small air bubbles that I couldn't get rid of. I used a space heater for 24 hours set to 80 degrees and it came out rock hard :)

The media could not be loaded.  Did 2 tumblers so far with this epoxy and I love it.

Bought this for my bathroom counter ! So beginner and renter friendly ! I will definitely be purchasing more !!
