Actually works! 1440p 120hz on my DisplayPort monitor with Xbox Series X
I’ve now tried 4 competitor products with the same advertised features, none have worked except this one. Works perfectly, no perceptible lag and instantly recognized by the Xbox Series X and my Dell monitor. Very happy!

Not HDMI 2.1
False advertising. Their second picture shows 4k@120hz, third picture says 4k@60hz, and then they claim it can do 8k. None of that is true. Save your money and buy the cheaper adapters. It will only do 4k@30hz with overrides on Xbox Series X. Which means it won’t upscale for games and it only works for certain movies. It will show 1440p but will only do 60hz. When you select 120hz it will say unsupported resolution and kick you back to 60hz or 1080p@120hz. Does not work on PS5 because PS5 doesn’t support overrides like Xbox so their wide compatibility claim and picture is also falsely advertised. Their notes say “certain monitors only support 1440p@60hz instead of 8k@30hz” this is clearly an attempt to mislead because it only recognizes 4k@30hz meaning it’s not 2.1 standard and only says 2.1 because they’re following the HDMI people’s garbage licensing guidelines. You have to force YCC 4:2:2 for it to recognize 4k@30hz so they clearly know it can’t do 8k. I know my monitor supports super resolution and up to 165hz and works fine on PC so it’s not my monitors fault. Waste of time. Will be returning it for refund.

Did not work for 4K 60hz 444 10 bit on Desktop
My problem is I have an Intel Arc card that doesn't support SDR 10 bit color only does 10 bit in HDR so I have to use the native HDMI 2.1 port from integrated graphics to get 10 bit color in SDR (real dumb Intel). My monitor only has DP 1.4 for that bandwidth so I need an adapter and was hoping one listed as HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 would work. Well it didn't as max refresh is 30hz in 10 bit which I can get over HDMI 2.0 anyway. So this adapter doesn't appear to be true HDMI 2.1. No where on the actual package does it claim HDMI 2.1 either so not as it is advertised on Amazon. It probably does work OK for basic conversion but that is not what I need. I don't think what I need exists at all.

Good quality
I use this product to connect my monitor to my laptop. It is a good quality and sleek product. The USB cable that attaches to the laptop is interchangeable (some products have it attached to the cable). I only mention it because it is somewhat long but you can use another shorter cable if you would like. I didn't experience any disconnection issues while using it like I did with some other cables.

Super helpful
This was a lifesaver with a new work from home job of mine. I bought some older model desktops from a thrifting app and this was just what I needed.

This works perfectly
If your looking to upgrade your monitor for better quality picture. This is what you need just don’t forget to grab a DP cable. Aka Display Port cable.

Works, but not as I expected...
I have 2 monitors that I connect to with a single Display Port connector. The goal was to get the Extended screen view with the monitors (Macbook closed), but it's only mirrored. It does Extended view with Macbook open, but with the laptop, open or closed, the monitors are only mirrored (same image). With laptop closed, same image on both monitors. Since this is an active (powered) device, I thought it would support an extended screen view between two monitors, but it apparently does not. However, when I need to use a Display port to the HDMI port on the Mac for a single screen... it's great.
