PPG ProLuxe Door and Window Wood Finish, 1 Quart, 003 Clear Satin

This is a very high quality finish. The required dry times between coats makes it slightly awkward to use, but it has a substantial ‘open time’ to create a super smooth finish and it should prove to be quite durable, especially against UV rays—- something where other products have fallen short.

It was easy to apply and made my mahogany doors look great. I used this stain before applying the clear coat version of this product to help further seal out the weather.

Very happy to have bought PPG ProLuxe Door and Window wood finish. Great product and same high quality as its old brand Sikkens Cetol. I used Sikkens 10 years ago. It worked great for my front door for UV protection in the south. Glad to find this new brand on Amazon. Finished my stain painted wooden door. It looks great and hope for a long lasting protection.

Placed this on our front door and love how it turned out. It’s not sticky, and it applies evenly. Definitely recommend.

Arrived on time. Applied very well with a natural bristle brush. The finish is smooth with no runs on an oak door. Time will tell how well it holds up to the elements. I hope it will last at least seven years.

Easy to use. Looks great. Make sure you prepare your surface! These products don't work on dirty things. Prep is everything. I used this roughly about a year ago. Follow the directions. Otherwise it may not end well.

WOW, THIS IS GREAT STUFF, AND SHIPPING WAS AHEAD OF THE SCHEDULED EARLIEST ARRIVAL DATE. ONE QUART EASILY DID 3 COATS ON A LARGE EXTERIOR DOOR THAT WE MADE FROM SPANISH CEDAR, AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL - WHICH IS A BIG RELIEF SINCE I AM NOT AN EXPERT FINISHER AND THE WOOD COST $640 AND CONSIDERABLE TIME WENT INTO GIVING THE WOOD A BEAUTIFUL KANNA PLANED RAW FINISH. i HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 2ND QUART AND SHALL CONTINUE TO USE THIS PRODUCT AND TRY OTHER BY SIKKENS.

This is good stuff. Stinks less than original sikkens
