I checked for water tightness before use following other reviews that suggested leaks but it was perfect. Very easy to use and due to the unique large tray with large lid it was not even necessary to wipe any oil off of the pan after use. After servicing my vehicle, I just took the whole thing in the boot of my car to my local recycling centre and poured the oil away. This is much better than the open pan that I used to use and easier to store too because there are no oily exposed surfaces. I would recommend this product.

Had this shipped in from USA as needed a new one.Has wheels on the base so was easy to move under the car, the grid in the pan catched the drain plug and have left it a few days and no oil has leaked out so very good

Cannot recommend this was so disappointed as expected better from a made in USA product. Arrived with no lid for the drain hole I used a cap from a 5l bottle I had fitted perfectly. Decided to fill with water to try before putting oil in it. Leaked from the makeshift drain cap but that was no big deal as would be stored upright. No immediate leak from the large opening so sat it in a basin and left overnight. Next morning basin had plenty water as it was leaking. This is not fit for purpose and I got a refund on it from Amazon. Look elsewhere as u may end up with an oil spill using this a good design poorly manufactured.
