Works great
I do a lot of DIY framing. I purchase old framed art at thrift stores and refurbish the frames for my dog art. I use the tape in place of covering the back frame with kraft paper.

Great for finishing framing
I had a photograph mounted on foam board that I framed, but it was just a bit thick for the backing. This sealing tape allowed me to finish the project without having to get too fancy. It worked great.

Great sealer tape
This works really well. I was impressed by how easy it was to use. I have used it on a number of framed pictures. No more dark shadows on my wall.

Great for sealing raw wood rabbets of frame
I frame for longevity. I use Lineco Archival Frame Sealing Tape on the rabbet of the frame (the inside of the frame) to ensure that the acid in the wood doesn't migrate into my archival framing materials over time. Used for that purpose, the Frame Sealing Tape is excellent. To protect the back of the frame from dust and insects, I use a Lineco grey archival paper product made for that purpose. I don't recommend attempting to seal the rear of the frame package with the tape because it is difficult to remove. The tape, however, adheres well to archival foam core, but not as well to the non-archival foam core which can be identified by its slick surface.

Not so easy to handle
Not as good as I thought it would be. I have previously used double stick tape to adhere the backing to my frames and it worked very well. This is hard to handle and not as secure. Maybe I am not an expert but I didn't like it as well as the other method.

Worse Frame Tape EVER!
I bought this tape to seal my picture frames. I used form board behind the picture to protect the picture because I put them up in the bathroom. My bathroom is pretty big 12ft by 13ft and the pictures were not placed anywhere by the shower. I did a large picture wall of 25 pictures. The tape has now come off on 18 pictures. Some of the pictures have fallen down and the glass has broken on my expensive frames. I put the command strip on the back of the picture and since all the backs of the pictures have come off the pictures because the tape did not hold. So sorry to the day I used this product. I spent a lot of time taping the back of the pictures, but this Tape Does NOT Hold at all.

Not double sided tape
I was trying to put a dust cover on the back of some paintings, which I’ve never done before, and this wasn’t the double sided tape for that. Seems like it’s pretty sticky and probably decent for whatever you’re actually supposed to use this for..
