Was looking to upgrade my zero turn to another model with suspension do to rough ride. Decided to purchase this seat adapter and so far i am please with the suspension and ride on my mower. Saved a-lot of money purchasing this and not buying a new mower. Happy with purchase.

It took a lot of additional drilling, bolt slot modifications, turned up necessary spacers on my lathe, extended the seat safety switch wiring, and purchased longer 5)16" carriage bolts to name some of the modifications needed to install this on my older bobcat zero turn.The manufacturer needs to elongate all of the mounting holes, and to supply a spacer kit.You will definitely need a buddy to help as you WILL mount and remove the heavy total seat assembly 2 or 3 times ( factory seat, seat guides and this kit)!As soon as it drys out here in Mountain City Tennessee I'll update this review when I can actually ride the mower.UPDATE TO REVIEW!!!!!!The seat does ride a bit higher moving my knees to almost contacting the handlebars, going to have to fab up some extensions for sure.This modification / addition to the original seats suspension does provide about a 70% improvement in the overall ride.

I purchased the "TRAC SEATS Seat Suspension Kit for Bob-Cat Bobcat ProCat Series Zero Turn Mower" item in March 2021 for my 2017 Bobcat XRZ Pro 52" mower. The item arrived as described, well packaged with full tension set on the suspension kit. Quality appears to be excellent in material and workmanship. It is a hefty item. After installing which I will describe momentarily- the ride is EXCELLENT and well worth the money.Installation- I did measure before purchasing this suspension seat adaptor and the dimension were as outlined in the drawing; however, the suspension seat did NOT just bolt up to my mower seat mounting plate. The suspension kit holes were off by about 1/4" from what was needed to fit perfect. This was not a problem though since I was able to drill (2) 5/16" holes in the mower seat mounting plate. NOTE: I also intentionally installed the suspension seat kit upside down to the mower seat mounting plate and then installed the original factory mower seat on top of the suspension seat kit/adapter. I did this instead of installing recommended washers under the adapter to raise it enough for it to function. By doing this I did not need to add any spacers (washers), I did not have to reverse the seat adjustment lever, and the suspension adjustment (for rider weight) works just fine. I have since used this mower with the new suspension seat installed around 6 hours and I can guarantee you that if you are mowing over rough lawns you will notice a HUGE difference in the ride/comfort and your mowing time should decrease, which for me is good since time ='s money.

No joke... I seriously am so thankful for this thing. Who ever made this model to be "universal" in a way made the design where its not hard to just measure and drill 4 holes to match their hole for the base and then I had to add about 7/8" of a spacer to make sure it cleared my hydro oil container cap. Kind of a flaw in the textron bobcat deign but I figured it out. And also I ended up deleting or just looping the seat safety kill switch sensor. Obviously I don't advise that for anyone else if you're not smart enough to turn your pto OFF and your your engine OFF before you get OFF the mower. Just saying. Use your head and be smarter the then machine. That is all. Thank-you

This is fantastic. Makes mowing very pleasurable.Able to relax listen to a book while mowing. Not waiting for a bump to slam my back. After 3 spinal surgeries this really helps.Thank You.
