Defective for me!
Only my magenta ink had run out so I replaced it with the magenta from this package. When I printed nothing looked right. First picture is what printed. Second picture is what it should have looked like. I have used my HP 6700 for a couple years. Now without issue. I have used some generic and some name brand ink replacements, all of which worked perfectly. I'm sorry these didn't work because the price is so much better than HP!Update: Company contacted me after I returned the product and sent me another one to try. I had not reached out to them. I call that good customer service. I have still only replaced the magenta and it is working well now. It must have been a bad cartridge that I had gotten.

These Cartridges Cost Me My Printer
I originally purchased this "compatible" replacement ink last July when I moved into a new home. I didn't get my printer up and running until February of this year, because of many issues going on with the move. When I began printing my bank statements, the printer stopped, indicating that something was wrong with the cartridge head/s.I wrote to IKONG and they sent me a new cartridge set, which I installed. IKONG had been contacting me to write a review for months, so I wrote a good review stating they had replaced the defective cartridges with no problem.I hadn't been doing much printing for awhile, and then when I started using my HP printer one day in June, it stopped, indicating a problem with the printer head. I unplugged the printer, waited, plugged it back in, but the same message was showing. Nothing would help, so I opened the door to look at the cartridges. I could see that ink had leaked inside, mainly the magenta, yellow and black. I was sick!!!I took out the cartridges and tried to clean up all of the ink residue with filtered water on q-tips, as recommended in my printer manual. I then installed HP ink cartridges, thinking all would be well, but the same message was displaying --- and it was frozen there. I finally had to call HP Support, only to find out that my printer had mechanical damage due to the IKONG leaking cartridges, and I had to purchase a NEW PRINTER!!!Do not buy these cartridges, or this may happen to you! Trying to save some money on "compatible" ink cartridges cost me my perfectly good printer --- not a fair exchange. This is my second review, due to these catastrophic circumstances.

Works as good as the HP OEM
So far so good. They have lasted longer than the refills for the 3 different printers (Epson, HP's) I've got from a big-name retailer of refilled cartridges called Cartridge W**ld, where some failed or refused to work after one print. IKONG is one of the many Chinese companies (or distributor) selling refilled inkjet cartridges to us Americans, and I see why. The HP-branded replacement XL cartridges, on Amazon, would have been around $70. I paid $22 for these out the door with tax, shipped. I've said it before, Amazon's shipping is outstanding. I ordered these on Saturday, and had them on my doorstep on Wednesday. If it were during the week, I'd have them in 3 days. So, a few things. These are refills and re manufactured units. The casing is different (in the photos, IKONG is on the left, HP on the right), the logic chips are also different from the originals (IKONG is the red PCB, HP is green), but the actual important parts are there and functioned fine. I think the company puts their own custom logic program in these chips as the IC is potted to the PCB. Maybe some program trickery went into these, but they didn't completely fool the printer. I did have a little issue getting the cyan cartridge to seat in the carriage, but a little more pressure got it in, otherwise no problems. They came shipped in vacuum sealed bags, and were full of ink. The instructions were English/Mandarin Chinese, and surprisingly legible and complete enough with trouble shooting directions. Unpacking is as easy as the OEM ones. You need to pull off a tab that covers the pressure port, and give them a shake, then insert them in the carriage. My HP Office Jet 6700 Premium warned me I was using non-HP cartridges and gave the legalese. Once you okay that, it goes into a lengthy (roughly 5 minute process for me) of preparing the cartridges. Once done, I checked the settings to see if they were full, and they were. They showed up in the printer tools and on the printer as functioning fine. I printed a test page for checking the cartridges, nozzle, and head alihgment, and it passed with flying colors. The color reproduction is very good and ink distribution is as good as the OEM (I compared with a previously printed page). Black, yellow, cyan, and magenta all looked good. I haven't printed any photos, but ran a copy on color/draft speed, and it looked just fine. I have zero complaints so far. I don't disagree that you get 'bad eggs' as some reviewers have experienced as these are mass-produced and quality-control is minimized, but for $22, you more than get what you pay for, plus I would agree that these reputable Chinese companies honor their warranty as I've experienced in the past. Great buy. Recommended if you are tired of spending a fortune on ink.Pros:Work just fineGood color reproductionPrint quality is equal to HP-branded cartridgesLegible instructionsBetter than other refills I've usedCon:One cartridge was a little difficult to seat in the carriage, but not a huge deal

Thank goodness for the ethical pricing of companies like IKONG. Thanks for looking out for us IKONG
I'm a graduate student so I have been doing a lot of long papers. Which means I do a lot of printing. I always buy the XL cartridges from hp but they seem to last just as long as the regular ones. With that being said, $300 later I decided give IKONG a try. I cannot continue to fork over hundreds of dollars per academic quarter... on ink! IKONG works just as well as hp cartridges. No issues whatsoever. I took a chance on IKONG and I am grateful I did. From now on I'll only buy IKONG. Thank goodness for the ethical pricing of companies like IKONG. Thanks for looking out for us IKONG.

Works on HP Officejet 6600 after few hiccups
Works on HP Officejet 6600 after few hiccups. The black cartridge didn't get detected right away. But did recognized after powering off and on. Inserting the black cartridge wasn't as easy as the colored ones. Printer takes a while to start up. Probably a good time to go for a coffee break. I also had to power off and on a couple of times. I also got an warning message saying that the HP does not guarantee the print quality as the cartridges were not officially from HP. I just clicked ok to that message. Other than that everything else worked smoothly.P.S I had to 3 levels of deep cleaning in order for the magenta to show up. (See before and after screenshots)

Worked Like A Charm and 66% Less than OEM
I have an HP OfficeJet 6700 Premium, there was no issue at all with this printer detecting the cartridge, it was recognized right away as no HP, but just have to press okay on the ECP, did not have to run a cleaning cycle as other users had said, I would definitely buy these again. The three-pack color at Costco cost me $54, the entire package was half of this.

Works like a charm
The same cartridge(s) at Costco is 70 bucks for the black qty 2 and 60 bucks for the remaining colors. The pack did the job for a much smaller price. We have a HP 6700 all-in-one and this solution worked just fine. The printer recognized it was not genuine HP ink and we did have to replace all the cartridges BUT it works like a champ for less than a fifth of what Costco charges. No problems so far and we have been using the printer daily for the last week now.

Great product so far! Have HP6600 printer.
Have only replaced the black cartridge but works great. As the other reviews say - when inserted was not quite like OEM, bit rough to push in but after 2 (gentle) tries was recognized by the printer and no issues after following printer prompts. 25 pages so far. Value is fantastic.

Great value but cyan cartridge not working
Amazing value and print quality seems great except I finally changed the cyan cartridge and the colour is grey. There’s no cyan coming out. Not sure if it’s cartridge or printer. I’ve tried cleaning and the cyan seems to slowly be appearing. Anyone else have this issue?
