They are wires with an alligator clip on each end. Each tested fine. I left durability unrated since I just received them. I've seen messed up jumpers - usually when the alligator clip gets crushed, or someone cut the clip off to use with...um...some kind of smoking material. But they're really hard to screw up.I'll assume that the request for this "review" was automated because I can't imagine that any sane person would be requesting such a silly thing. Received the bundle in good order and, I think, early. They look sturdy and usable. I took one apart. The outside plastic clip molding was _really_ tough; this is a good thing. And the inside insulation gripper was also very secure. These are good things for durability. Except for .. the following, all seemed to be of good mechanical quality. I could find no sign of internal soldering which indicates to me that the actual wires were mechanically secured not soldered. So perhaps the connection _might_ be intermittent after some amount of use. The wires might slip around and transmit force to the mechanical wire connections in the clip. I originally had five stars because of the mechanical quality but went back to three after not finding what I consider a durable internal wire connection. OTOH: everything worked when I tried one set. Perhaps the connection is some kind of insulating penetrating mechanism; but when I finally got the insulation and the insulation strain relief loose the wire just fell out.

As technician of 43 years I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly in accessories, equipment, hardware you name it. These are a great value. I suspect they will hold up well. I immediately cut one of the ends of several leeds for a specialized jumper plug with flying Leeds, so I had a good chance to check the wire gauge and quality, good deal. I suppose you could pay more, but here you don’t need too. Thumbs up on the delivery and sellers.

Been using these for various testing projects and they are good. Used these one day to test a EVAP purge valve solenoid on my truck that set a code. Hooked up two of these on the electrical connections of the solenoid and applied 12 volts DC off my power supply to confirm if it was good or not like the repair manual suggested. When I turned the power supply on, the wires on the supply started to melt and smoke, but these wires did not even get warm. It turned out the solenoid had an very low resistance internal short and needed replaced. And no I did not short the wires, if I had the power supply would have shut off from its internal circuit protection like it always had from my previous accidental mistakes. If I had left the PSU on, then yes the PSU would have shut off once the coating melted.What amazed me was how hot my PSU wires got, they were smokin, yet these wires stood up with no visible signs. I will gurantee these wires and clips are made of high quality. Do not listen any negative reviews, I've did the test, I've confirmed it beyond doubt, these wires and clips are well made with quality materials.

These burned at 5Amps and melted into nothing. Started to catch fire but I was able to extinguish and cut the power before the heat spread. They would be good for low amps but nothing over 1amp even if that.

I am ecstatic. These clip leads are a standard length of flexible wire, with *soldered* connections to the 'gator clips. The wire insulation is crimped at the clip. The jaws are sprung plenty stiff, but the synthetic rubber clip insulator isn't. Very easy to use. The teeth on the clips are sharp enough to pierce insulation.These things are by far the best clip leads I've seen in a long time. I don't go through clip leads nearly as fast as I used to, but if I ever need any more of them I'm coming right back here for these. Take it from an Old Fart who's been using clip leads to put prototypes together for almost 50 years -- you won't find better than these for the dough. Highly, highly recommended.

Great set for the money. Very useful.Pros:- Solid construction,- Good grip,- Well packed,- Nice length,- Color counts are even (I got the set of two, so I have four reds, four whites, etc.)Cons:- Insides of rubber clip covers are slippery. Sometimes when I go to clip one on, the clip slides around under the cover and I have to be careful how I grip it.

Parts received (we had posted a question about whether the clips were soldered). They are indeed soldered and seem very well made. Nice clips, well worth the price. Wire feels like copper, too (some other clipleads have wire that feel stiff like maybe plated steel). Kind of wish we had ordered the 5-pack of these, could've thrown away all the junky-made clips that were already here from earlier purchases.

ok I just have to say wowwhen my package arrived I picked it up and the weight was awesome heavy. i’m like real copper and afterwards took everything out of packaging each cable is soldered and heavy gauge all product info is on back of packaging I definitely will buy these again if I need more, the price was higher than others but thats due to the quality of these. don’t be cheap these are awesomepost pictures when using them in use as I forgot whike doing one of my many projects

Shipping , quality , price, everything is perfect. know more connecting wires together by wrapping when testing audio wires etc . Why it took me so long to have this in my shop , I have know answers , but now I doDavidNova Scotia
