Tool insert locking device…..
The insert locking mechanism was frozen and I had to heat the tool to free the locking mechanism…..

Poor fitment of inserts to boring bar
Ok I’m not a professional machinist so let’s get that out of the way, I’ve bought a few pieces of tooling and for the most part all have worked without problems so far. I’m sure with a little file work this will as well, however I would expect the inserts that come with the tool would fit without modifications but apparently not this time. Not a deal breaker and overall quality seems ok I was disappointed with the issue right out of my box is the only reason for the 3 star review.
