The original bottom case design is somewhat weak. As a result the vent grille breaks frequently. I had purchased a replacement for this purpose. The plastic quality of the replacement is nearly equal, but slightly inferior.What is not present and should be carried over from an existing base:1. Rubber pads (Pull from the original one and fix them using double sided tape)2. Metallic seat for DVD bay (Take a blade and cut the plastic tabs on the original, recover the metallic plate, fix it on the replacement bottom case, use a soldering iron to press the tabs)3. Mesh grille for air intake vent. (Use a fine blade to scrape off carefully, fix it on the new bottom case using fevikwik)4. Indicator LED diffusors (Gently remove from the original and seat them in the new bottom case).5. Port cushions (there are cushions for the ports). Try to remove from the original and fix them at appropriate locations using fevikwik.To complete these, it kills time. Either follow the instruction as I have mentioned. Otherwise buy a costly one where all these are prefixed.
