Smart and comfortable
Very nice boots - bought for my partner. They look good and feel comfortable. Great colour and style

Comfortable boots
Had similar boots in the past. The colour is a little lighter than I would ideally like but picture is fairly good representation. For those who have not had them before when new they are quite difficult to get on without a shoe horn. The sole has minimal tread so would not be suitable in slippy conditions. The boots I find comfortable and seem reasonably well made. Price is good.

Well made and a great fit
Nothing really! I buy chukka boots forthe dry summer they are light to wearand you can spray them to make waterproof if required.

Nice enough pair of boots
Nice enough pair of boots feels comfortable and a decent enough price too, but the soul of the shoe is abit on the soft side after wearing for a awhile and not hard wear either I have found the heal is nearly gone woren down and also they have lots of marks and indents on them, the rest of the boots are great so far my only complaint is the souls of them which are made of far too soft material if my opinion

Essential 80’s squaddie foot wear
I use to wear these back in the day, we all did just an extension of uniform in civvies. Light weight, comfortable just like wearing slippers LOL. Have had the piss ripped out of me by young millennial nephew but what do they know an uncles job is to embarrass nephew and nieces with their dress code. They look smart in stonewashed jeans ( not stretched) very comfortable, obviously there’s been comments about these being slippery in the wet conditions, if it’s pouring with rain wear proper shoes to match the weather it’s not rocket science. You wouldn’t wear flip flops on the moon! It’s called common sense. Overall very happy with the purchase you pay for what you get

Absolutely the best! These Roamers mens desert boots have retained their style for several years now - and I can see why.Superb comfort, good breathability - even in continental temperatures of 30+ degrees.Tip: A pair of charcoal insoles is a great idea!Durability is very good, even considering the light beige colour, and I have discovered that marks can usually be removed with a sponge and a little gentle soapy water.A pair of Roamers desert boots will last me all summer with regular wear.Overall: Great with either jeans or shorts, and the price doesn't break the bank. 5/5 to Roamers.

Total Junk.
First let me make clear that i have had multiple pairs of Roamers desert boots like this in the past, and all have been perfect and lasted well. My last pair are only now consigned to the scrap heap after ten years of great service. So when I ordered theas new replacements I expected the usual out of the box comfort, quality materials and workmanship, and a good few years of service. What a disappointment. side by side the quality of materials is glaringly far poorer. The comfort is awful and they actually feel odd sizes although both shoes are marked uk tens. The souls are like a cream cracker made of cheap sponge. The heel counter feels like a steel knife in your Achilles tendon. The suede is paper thin. The lining is cheap and thin like a synthetic paper. I feel like I have just been mugged my 35 quid. Thats the end of a life long relation ship between my feet and Roamers. What a total waste of 35 quid. Don't buy them they are junk and nothing like they used to be.

You get what you pay for
So for the price, I can't really complain. They really are comfy to wear, even more so when I put my own insoles in them. I orginally bought a pair of Rogue boots, however after 2 attempts at sizing they didnt fit (I am a size 10). For a quarter of the cost I came across the Roamer boots. Sure almost what I was after so why not?Dispatch was quick. Now, on initial inspection it is clear they are of the lower end, still, if I get a year out of them. What I dont like too much are the soles. They remind me of soles for flip flops and are already starting to wear heavily. If I could get the soles from Rogue boots on these, then they'd be the ideal boots!Had a few long walks in them and no rubbing or blisters.
