Fast and prompt shipping. Happy customer.
Great book. Super thin compared to the vol. 3. At this level, it’s really getting into the beauty of learning/playing the cello. My 9yo cello player enjoys pieces in this volume. I wish they’d also offer a piano accompaniment section in one book even if that adds some extra $$ to the price.

Suzuki is always great this is a new , does not contain the old material from vol 4
Does not contain the same music as volume four in the originals, so don’t try to replace your old volume four. This is all new music.

A No-Brainer for Intermediate Cellists
I choose this book because I am a low-intermediate cellist moving up from Suzuki Book 3. I had avoided Suzuki books in the past because I wanted to customize my own repertoire, but now I have come to love Suzuki. The books contain an intuitive selection of works that help the student progress in difficulty. Additionally, the pieces sound great on the cello. Book is mostly bass clef, with some tenor clef etudes/practice at end of book. I especially appreciate the suggested fingering, which saves me HOURS of trying to figure it out on my own. I would recommend this book to any low-intermediate cellist. The Suzuki companion CD for books 3/4 also complements this book.

As described but arrived bent
Probably just a shipping issue, but the CD was not affected.

Great Continuation of the Suzuki Method
I have really enjoyed learning cello by the Suzuki method. One thing I worry about is that individuals who have not had any prior musical training often have difficulty learning the notes and names, but since I play the piano too, this method has been very effective for me. It is refreshing to hear how the music is supposed to sound and it helps me have better pitch.

More like a pamphlet
I have been using Suzuki books for 30 years, and there are some great things in the latest versions. But this book is about a third of the thickness of the other books, and only has a couple of pieces in it. (To be fair, the last two violin books are only one piece, technically, but they are even thicker than the other books because the pieces are full concertos, and there are tons of preparatory exercises. You're still getting your money's worth.) I was really shocked and disappointed to receive this one after paying so much for it.
