Bought this power supply for my yamaha psr-500. i bought the psr-500 at a garage sale with no adapter. i was told by the previous owner that it had an issue with the volume if you turned it up too loud. with this adapter zero issues with the volume!! i read online that a bad or wrong adapter can cause the volume issue but this one works perfectly. cable and connectors are of excellent quality. the adapter plugs perfectly into the back of the keyboard and is a tight snug fit with no excess movement. The cord is long enough to reach an outlet that is a few feet away. it is overall just a solid unit, does not have the cheap chinese feel to it. Excellent buy!

I purchased my Pwr+® Ac Power Supply in August and got it well packaged and ready to be used. I was really concerned about its size and light weight but this was soon alleviated after powering up only to discover it worked excellently.I normally use my Psr 740 at Church and social function in the Caribbean and am really happy with my Pwr+® Ac Power. It also fits perfectly in my " World Tour KC18S10 Deluxe Padded Keyboard" great combination. One thing tho, i noticed that at full volume and heavy Caribbean bass coming through the keyboard's speakers it shut down, at normal volume my keyboard works sweet and perfectly. But, who needs that loud level out of the keyboard's speakers? in fact when I use my keyboard I do so with my Mackie V2 SRM 450 so I need not listen to my keyboard internal speaker. In all I am extremely happy with my Pwr+® Ac Power Supply and would highly recommend it. You would not regret it.

This power adapter is able to be used for both of the keyboards that I use at school. It made sense to buy one adapter for both keyboards, instead of buying a separate adapter for each of the keyboards. The price is great and the adapter works.

There's not too much to say. It's a power adapter, and it worked perfectly with the Yamaha keyboard I have. The one comment I would make is that the cord is slightly short than the original one that came with it. On the flip side, this is a simple wall wart power adapter, as opposed to the huge in-line transformer the keyboard originally came with. All in all, I'd say the wall wart is easier to deal with than the transformer model. Oh, and a final thought. It does have a ferrite core on the cord, which should help lessen any interference on headphone or audio lines that are plugged into the board. While that should be standard on any power cord supplying an audio or video device, especially in a clutter home A/V environment, many low end/budget supplies don't include them. It was nice to see it included on this one.

We lost the one that came with our keyboard some time ago and I finally got around to looking for one online and I found this one at a great price. It works perfectly and we have had absolutely NO problems with it. Great replacement at a great price. Highly recommended to anyone who needs a new power cord.

I rate this replacement adapter as inferior. While it may work in a marginal way, and while it is advertised as suitable for many models of Yamaha keyboards, it is not a genuine replacement. It does not have the same power output characteristics of the original PA4 adapter. Consequently, the sound was greatly reduced and other keyboard functions did not work. You are better off using batteries. Waste of money folks.

Delivery was fast and easy, had no problem with the product itself, except for that it didn't work with my psr-70 yamaha, which from the description of the product, it should have. I believe there are a lot of yamaha products listed under this product's description that it doesn't actually work with.
