Great dispenser for when you can't be there 24/7
Works well for my 98 year old mother. I had to put a label for her to slide the door open. Sometimes the pills get stuck because she is taking 6 of them and has poor eyesight so can't see them. Of course they are white pills against the white background, which doesn't help. You have to be careful to replace the batteries as soon as you see the low battery icon, else it dies. It was pretty easy to set up the alarms. Overall this has been a tremendous help for me to manage my moms pills while she is in independent living. It would be close to $50 a day to have them administer the pills. I would say this is a good tool in the tool box for helping the elderly who are starting to forget.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!
THE SOLUTION! I have ADHD and was always forgetting to take my various medications. I tried leaving pill cases in visible places, reminders on my phone, timers -- nothing worked until this! I have gone a full month now and have had wonderful success with this pill dispenser! Some reviewers have mentioned the difficulty to program -- I agree that it might be hard for someone who is aged and has lost some understanding, but for me it just took carefully reading the instructions once and now I know what to do each time I refill or set new alarms. It is also very adaptable to the number of times you need to take medications in a day. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

Lessens your burdens
This pill caddy is good for someone who forgets to take their pills, but who’s not so far gone that when they hear the alarm, they don’t know what’s going on. So, keep that in mind. The patient has to have enough of their faculties that they can go and get the pills out when the alarm sounds. It’s pretty easy to set up. The directions are fairly clear. One thing to keep in mind: it matters what time of day you set this up. My mom does a.m. and p.m. pills. I set this up in the middle of the day. So, the next alarm that would go off would be her evening alarm, so I made sure that her evening pills were the first ones to come around when the machine rotated. This has only happened once, but one of her pills got turned sideways and actually got stuck, so that when she turned it upside down, all of them came out but that one. And she’s not cognizant enough to notice and make a point of digging that pill out. So, I don’t think it’s going to be much of a problem, but thought I should point it out to be thorough. I really like this. So far, it’s working great. If your loved one forgets to take their pils routinely, this might work for them. The alarm is loud enough (there are different volume settings), and I love that simply taking the action to dump the pills out turns off the alarm. That really helps reinforce the taking of the pills. Can you imagine if there was a big button that would shut off the alarm? People would shut it off b/c it’s irritating, then they might forget to take the pills. So, I love that feature. My mom’s only been using this for about 3 weeks, but so far, it’s working great, and I’m definitely glad I bought this. I just hope it’s a long time before my mom gets to the point where when the alarm goes off, she says, “What’s that beeping sound?”

Does the Job, but Keep an Eye on the Clock
I'm currently caring for a family member with Alzheimer's who cannot remember to take their medication on time. This device accomplishes the task of keeping the pills secure underneath the locked plastic cover (so the patient can't take them all at once) and alerting the patient when it's time to take medication. PROS: ■ One month in, I'm still on the first set of batteries with no alerts about them being low yet, so I would rate the battery life as GOOD. ■ Loud alarm with a flashing green ring makes it impossible for the patient to ignore their medication. ■ Light and easy to carry ■ Pills are securely held in place, even if the dispenser is turned upside down ■ Construction seems fairly solid While this dispenser functions adequately, there are a few issues that need attention: CONS: ◆ My device loses time at around one minute per week. So after three weeks, the alarm sounds at 6:12 instead of the set time of 6:15. So you'll need to keep resetting the clock to ensure accurate medication schedules. ◆ The device beeps LOUDLY even when adjusting settings, configuring schedules, and setting the clock. This volume will hurt your ears and confuse the patient, who may think it's time to take their pills because they hear the same beeping. You can't set anything during the night without risking waking others. ◆ As you can see from the pictures, there is a label that says OPEN right on the front of the device; this has caused the patient to continually attempt to open the lid to get their pills, nearly breaking the dispenser. I think it would be better if there were an arrow pointing to the little sliding cover or no label. ◆ The thin cardboard rings do not stay in place and often pop up when refilling the dispenser. OVERALL, if you can manage these issues, this is a good dispenser that has taken some of the burdens of medication management. (edited to correct typo)

Broke after 60 days, outside of return window, lacks timely support options including voice calls
I purchased this for my mothers pills, of which she has about 9 per day, several of them critical for her health as she is in her mid 80's. Given the reviews online, the cost of the product, and the locking mechanism, I deduced this was a quality product that was built for securing and dispensing serious medications. The product worked fine for about 60 days (30 day return policy). After 60 days we started getting an error code of "EER", which caused the entire device to stop working. The first time we got the code we replaced the batteries and that fixed the issue. A couple weeks later we got the same code again. Even though we thought it was strange to have dead batteries so soon, we replaced them again. This time it worked for 1 day. Then we not only got the "EER" code, the tray with the pills only would advance half way so you were unable to get any pills out of the dispenser door. Since then, it is completely broke and will not do anything. I reached out to Amazon support but since we are past the 30 day return policy, all they can do is direct me back to who I purchased it from. They provide a restricted tool to answer very specific questions only, and then tell you they will get back to you within 48 hours. We cannot speak to anyone. I cannot type a note explaining how critical it is that we get this resolved. Nothing. This product should be marketed as a "vitamin" dispenser, and not as a secure medicine dispenser unless you always have back up means to supply pills, which you probably wouldn't need this device if you did! Due to lack of timely support on this product, and the fact it only worked for 60 days, I would recommend against buying this for anything other than vitamins and aspirin/tylenol/advil, etc.

LiveFine 28-Day Automatic Pill Dispenser: A Lifesaver for Medication Management!
In the journey to ensure my mother's medication routine, the LiveFine 28-Day Automatic Pill Dispenser emerged as a true hero. Over 9 months of use, it has been an invaluable tool in managing her medication with ease. Setting up the dispenser for multiple daily doses was relatively straightforward, with the only hiccup being the initial timer adjustment. Once conquered, the unit proved its worth, rotating the pill tray and emitting a loud, clear alarm—a perfect volume for my 85-year-old mother. Living with moderate Alzheimer's, my mother relies on the dispenser's alarm, faithfully getting up to take her medication. However, a minor design flaw became evident: the word "Open" on the lip confused her initially, leading to repeated attempts to lift the tab instead of sliding open the door. With repetition, she adapted, but omitting the confusing label could enhance user experience. Despite a slight drift in timers over time, a negligible 13-minute difference at 9 months, the LiveFine dispenser has proven durable. It endured attempts to force open the lid with a spoon, showcasing its robust locking mechanism. The lid remains stress-free and easy to fill with medication and vitamins. Speaking of vitamins, even gel-based ones pose no challenge. Occasionally sticking inside, they are effortlessly removed with your finger. Remarkably, the original batteries are still going strong after 9 months. In summary, the LiveFine 28-Day Automatic Pill Dispenser is a recommendation without hesitation. For anyone needing a reliable reminder system, it not only aids in medication management but also promotes a sense of independence. A small investment with immeasurable returns for peace of mind.

Big help but only holds 28 days if that’s 1 time a day
I’m a caretaker for a family member and I also work. I was having a lot of trouble distributing all her many different medication, she takes different meds 4 times a day. So much for all is us to keep up with. Plus she would be asleep and we would just set them on the table and she would take hours later whenever she woke up. Not with this thing!!!! The alarm is so loud it wakes her up each time, makes her feel in control of her own meds. I just fill it up each week and leave it in her room. No confusion on what to take when, no missed doses, and no more headache. This device was very expensive but so worth it. I love the locking feature as well because she was getting her meds mixed up in the little pill boxes and taking the wrong ones at the wrong time when I tried to let her have control of her own meds. Learned that lesson really quick. Definitely a must have for the person who has to distribute medication to someone.

Unfortunately a limited life span
Worked fine for about a 18 months. Though did have occasional stuck pills. Now the digital clock button isn’t working. Important feature for a device reliant on scheduling. It’s not like it gets a lot of wear. It just stopped working. Expensive device with a short life span.

Buenas calidad, funciona correctamente
Le ha servido mucho a mi mamá. Hay que tomar en cuenta que se tienen que respetar los horarios de la medicina. Hasta ahorita ha funcionado bien.

Life-saver
This dispenser has made a huge difference for us. Now I don't have to worry about Mom taking too many pills in same day, and I know if she forgets to take them. The locking feature has been a huge stress reliever for us. Have been using for more than 7 months and haven't had to change batteries yet. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs help regulating their meds.

A true marvel and a Godsend for us! Can't recommend enough
This is one of those dementia products that promises alot and truly delivers what it promises. We have close family with Alzheimer's and she could never take her pills on time... or at all... or worse miss a few days and then take them all at once. It was a disaster so we thought we'd try this and even if it worked for a few weeks it would be cheaper than hiring someone to ensure she got her pills on time and didn't miss them. This thing has been a Godsend, it's never missed a beat and has been ensuring she gets the right dosage when she is supposed to get them. Its kept her getting her proper medication for the better part of a year and better yet, when you go to fill it you can see if she missed a dose etc. Such a great deal at the price!

Brilliant device
This device has potentially saved my mom’s life. It turns out that having your pharmacy put your meds in blister packs don’t work if you get easily confused by what day it is - because you’ll just take the pills from the next day’s row. This device prevents that from happening. Both reminding you to take your pills (you can choose alarm settings) and not allowing you to access pills you’re not yet due for.
