Great pair of walking boots
Really comfortable and great for walking on firm ground, expensive but worth it.

Amazing boots
These are the most comfortable boots I have owned. I am ex military (24 years) and these have been the best so far. Unfortunately I had to return them and get a refund as the sole perished on one side after a months of use. I think it must have been a fault as the other boot was fine. I wanted a replacement but I could only get a refund, which was very quick in being dealt with. I will keep an eye out for my size becoming available and buy another 2 pairs , one for work and one for walking. Really good customer service thanks Inov8, spot on

Wear them and they wear out....Fast!
Like other users, I would say these are supremely comfortable, straight out the box, however the durability is just not up to par, especially the sole. My first pair lasted approx 3 months and the sole simply split from the upper and started to come away, this happened on both feet. INOV8 support was outstanding and sent me another pair. This second set are now 6 months old and the same has happened, sole has split and is coming away from the upper, however the sole is also wearing and it looks like I have melted the outside edge of both heels.Once again, INOV8 are sending me a replacement pair of boots, so thumbs up for the support.I have other boots that have been worn more and have hardly worn on the sole, so this isn't a personal gait issue. My recommendation is that if you want to go through the continual returns cycle, get them, they are great, but if you want a pair of boots that will last a long time, and you don't want to worry about repairing/replacing on a yearly basis, get Scarpa leather boots.

Excellent so far
Early days but these boots seem to be good. They are light but sturdy and waterproof. Only criticism is the price, they are very expensive

Great shoes for about 6 months then holes have appeared in the uppers and they are not waterproof. Disappointing considering the price.

As reported by many reviews
Fantastically comfortable and light but really deceptive. Initially you think these are awesome and well worth £200. The grip is only ok but otherwise these feel amazing. The problems start a few weeks in when the waterproofing fails completely. This is a well known issue in the trade… you simply can’t maintain a very thin gore lining in a very flexible boot. So after a few weeks you have very comfortable boots that are not waterproof. If you use them a few times a week then they will fall apart after about 12 months. I wish inov 8 would sort this out. They make great footwear that’s not waterproof and doesn’t claim to be but these just can’t compete with an old fashioned pair of leather boots. And the environmental impact of replacing boots every 12 months is horrifying
