Can it be unscrewed and small stones etc put inside?

no you can’t unscrew it plus it’s really small

Is this a butt plug ?

It simply says “Pendulum”! Now if your looking for a butt plug try typing “butt plug” or “anal plug” into amazons search engine and choose your desired choice. I am 100% positive that this particular item will not show up under that search.

Do you have to cleanse it before use and if so, how?

Yes you should always cleanse any stones, crystals, pendulums, etc, before use. It does not mean that the sender is of bad energy; however, you want your items to be of your very own energy. Works best that way! To cleanse you can use dragon blood, white sage, or Palo Santo. Any incense of cleansing, your choice! Dangle your pendulum over the sage or incense and allow the smoke to engulf the pendulum. Another option, Leave it out when a full moon is out and let it sit out for 30 min or the whole night. Last option, use your intent and banish any and all unwanted energy from the pendulum. Do so by saying your own mantra, or prayer for banishing negativity while holding the pendulum firmly in your hand. You may want to charge it as well, some people don’t and some do. If you have crystals you can wrap it around the crystal for charging and…banishing negativity. It’s all about intent my friend. Have fun, I send love and positivity your way! So shall it be!

If you google "how to use a pendulum" there are lots of options to learn about it.
