Used this to kayak and it was perfect!! Fits a lot!!

I saw this bag at a store down in Myrtle Beach, then ended up buying it at a better price from Amazon. It's a good bag to take for long walks at the beach, as you can keep your phone/charger/etc. safe from random splashes and the occasional sudden rainstorm. The largest pocket is the waterproof one, so that's where you'll want to keep stuff that you really don't want to get wet. The outer two zip pockets would likely resist a splash, but are not waterproof. I bought the bag because it's relatively large for a fanny pack and because of the waterproof pocket, so I'm pleased with the purchase.A drawback of the bag is that the waterproof pocket is not easily accessible. You have to unsnap two closures and unroll the top of the bag to get to anything in the waterproof inner pouch, which is inconvenient. Safer for your stuff, yes, but annoying if you need to get something quickly or while walking.The documentation for the bag says the waterproof pouch is not submersible, so this bag is not suitable for swimming.

Tug, tug, tug. Belt slips loose quickly, constantly tightening it up. This is extremely annoying, as I purchased this bag so that I wouldn't have to think about it, or what I'm carrying in it, I want a worry free unencumbered hike. I won't get it with this bag. I like that it fits a couple water bottles, but putting your phone in an exterior pocket may cause it to get wet if it rains. Zippers are not Waterproof. Exterior pockets do not seem to be lined with the water repellent. It's cute. I'll keep using it. It's thin enough that I can see my credit card through the fabric. The attachment from bag, to the belt strap is firm, and I don't see any future issue regarding it's longevity. I do wish the had a better waist strap that didn't slide loose, even with it secured in the additional loops. It also is not very comfortable. If you're waterproof bag, is not Waterproof, the least you could do is attach it to a comfortable, performance, belt strap, not cheap slippery nylon.

The bag is water resistant NOT waterproof

will use more in a summer so I will update review, so far no complains.

This is not waterproof. Maybe water resistant but certainly not waterproof as advertised. I still like it I just know it is not waterproof.

Love it...it's lightweight, water proof, with plenty of room to carry neccessities
