Z97S SLI Krait Edition Desktop Motherboard

Bought as part of my first build. I was going for a Black and White theme (having purchased the MSI GTX 980ti Armor, which is fantastic also) and this board fitted that perfectly. There are more than enough headers for any case fans you may have, along with USB 3.0. I'm using it with a Xeon E3, and hence can't comment on the graphics outputs on the board.The PCI-E slots seem to hold the quite heavy card very well with minimal sag. It fits absolutely perfectly in my Fractal Design R4. It's also one of the least expensive boards to be SLI compatible, which is great for future proofing. The BIOS is easy to use, and has enough settings for anyone.Pros: > Looks fantastic. Reliable, simple and looks amazing.I have had no problems with this motherboard, it looks amazing with it's simple and elegant styling. The BIOS is UEFI and also incredible easy to use, the in-built memory OC function is perfect for me with my 1600MHz RAM as it automatically clocks it at that with no other changes necessary.I don't have much experience using the CPU OC function other than the fact I know it works and is relatively easy to use.

This is awesome vale for money. SATA3 USB3 M.2 and 2x PCIE 3 is rare for this kind of price.Having now used the Krait for a couple of years I can safely say it is a solid and stable MB which is easy to work with and well laid out for gaming PC builds. I will also be choosing MSI MB and GFX for my next build which with coincide with the release of a certain Cyberpunk game :)

There will be many more modern, and faster Motherboards than this, but it is just what I wanted, to upgrade my previous 10 year old desktop, and it was of a great price !!! With this motherboard, I also bought an Intel i5 4460 Quad Core Processor (3.2GHz) and HyperX FURY 16 GB Memory Module Kit - White. The overall package is just as I had hoped for, and was excellent value for money !!! I thoroughly recommend it !!!

Great looking mobo, fantastic looking BIOS too, with logo. I usually disable them, but had to keep it in this case! Still going strong. I'd have loved a white backlight on this like on the G1 Sniper's that are green, but then some wouldn't like that.
