The cap is great, or would be, but this cap is made from linen, which is more susceptible to damage than other materials. Amazon shipped mine in a flimsy thin plastic envelope and one side of the cap was severely creased. Repeated daily steaming over a week has not removed these creases and it does not look good at this point. The primary seller ships these caps in protective boxes, and I would recommend buying this linen cap directly from them as it's not a cheap cap and does require some care. As I said, it's a great cap, but highly susceptible to damage the way Amazon packages it for shipment. Beware!

For the price I expected a little better quality. It’s a linen cap , which is lite anyway , but it seemed a bit cheap. The head band inside the cap doesn’t sit flat to the forehead , but curves inward. It’s a bit uncomfortable due to that issue. That causes the brim of the cap edge to dig into your forehead. The only section of the headband that sits flat is at the back half ,& a few inches at the very front.

Needed a lightweight summer cap for an upcoming trip to the UK. I've previously purchased Hanly tweed caps and cashmere scarves from the manufacturer in Ballyartella. It turns out their linen flatcaps are made for import by Biddy Murphy, and not available directly from Hanly. Very pleased to find them here on Amazon. Ordered my usual size, fits comfortably, not tight, perfect.

Super-lightweight, lined in a very fine woven white cotton. Head band is white satin. The color may be a bit lighter than pictured, with the texture expected from linen. Beautiful construction...perfect for summer. Sits on the head with a sleek and modern look, and carries the vibe of an fine accessory.

I ordered the usual size to begin but the cap was too big, so I sent that back and did a slightly smaller size. The second cap seemed too big, so I sent that back as well and then stopped ordering as two strikes is enough for a cap like this.

This is my second linen cap and I love them both. Will be getting another one soon. Great for the summer here in Florida. The fit is perfect and it all that I was expecting and more. Great product.

Very nice quality and perfect fit. I wear a 7 1/4 in western hats and ordered the medium.For awareness, the charcoal hat is a lighter color than I expected. It more like grey.

Love these hats! I live in Texas where it gets really hot in the summer so I wanted something cool and lightweight. This fits the bill nicely. I will buy some of their heavier wool caps to wear this winter. Quality and fit are excellent! Highly recommend this one!!
