I got this to soften and comfy up my seat on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra. I had gotten a new seat cover, and decided that when I install the cover, I wanted to try installing a gel pad as well, since I heard so much good things about this mod. This gel pad is about 3/4" thick, its not memory foam, really sticky, but manageable, I've never really worked with this stuff myself. I am not a upholstery pro what so ever, never worked on that kind of stuff. So, with the help of a couple YouTube videos, I tackled this seat mod. Well, I found that the Ultra's stock seat has a 3/4 inch layer of foam over another layer of foam. All I had to do was measure the size I needed to cut, and and depth was perfect (actually, the Gel pad did stick up over about 1/8"), and was sticky enough that I did not have to use any glue to keep it in place. For my mod, I also removed a 3/4" layer of foam from the back part to move me back some, and it is GREAT. I put on the seat cover, and let me tell you, the difference is AWESOME. I went on a 300 mi ride, and was so comfortable. We had couple stops, but with this gel in the seat, I think I could have kept on riding. Before the install, I was always waiting to do a stop because of how uncomfortable the stock setup was, this gel pad cured all that. Also, with the layer removed from the back, put me back a little, so I believe that also helped. I would recommend this Gel pad to anyone looking to mod their seats, you will not regret it. Like I said, the install was pretty easy for DIY-ers. I wish I had taken pictures of the install, but I forgot to do all that, but believe me, its easy, check out the YouTube videos on the subject. I didn't do any reshaping with sandpaper or electric knives, just cut the hole, insert gel and re-covered seat. I live in Phx AZ, and when writing this, its winter here, not hot enough to see if there are any issues from the heat, but I doubt there will be any. Seat is so much more comfy now, in the future, I am buying another piece to install in the passenger seat for my wife, she will love me long time for this. Take care brother, Ride Safe.

Super simple to install and can ride longer between stops.The downside is it absorbs the sun like a sponge.It took at least 30 mins for it to be bearable, but by that time, I was already burnt on my butt.Going to take seat cover off and add a piece of fabric, or carry a towel wherever we go, to keep both seats out of direct sunlight.

It’s much softer/squishier than I was expecting. Cutting it was no problem with a utility blade. It is VERY sticky. I struggled a bit getting it set it place. Every time I touched it to push it down it would stick to my fingers and pull it back up. Maybe a little oil on my hands could have helped. But it’s very comfortable to sit on. I wasn’t happy with my MT09 Yamaha Comfort Seat so I shaved a bunch of foam off for a flatter sitting position and added this gel pad for some extra squish since there wasn’t much foam left after shaping it. Worked just the way I had hoped.

Solid product. However, it's pretty heavy! So if you're trying to be on a lightweight bike like an R6, this is going to add another 2-3lbs easy.

Trimmed to size and cut into motorcycle seat foam. Worked great and made seat more comfortable. Recommend getting a sun cover for seat to keep gel from getting hot when parked in the sun.

Square is so minimal I had to turn it like a diamond just to get it to cover my sitting bones.Might cover a skinny dirt bike seat but not a Harley seat.

This product is not designed for hi-fi audio use, but it works very well as an anti-vibration platform for heavier electronics (use Moongel for lighter electronics). I use it for my Gustard R26 DAC and for my Linear Power Supplies, one of which powers my Singer SU-6 DDC which has an OXCO clock that is sensitive to vibrations transmitted through cables, etc. (SU-6 itself is too light for this pad to offer meaningful vibration protection, and so is on a Moongel platform). The legs on my electronics are lifting the units off the pads and offer better vibration response as the weight of the electronics is suspended in the gel through the legs rather than the entire base of the electronic device.I suspect this will work well as a cheap anti-vibration platform for turntables. Compared to typical anti-vibration legs that are usually only good for 2 dimensions, this feels like it will offer anti-vibration assistance in all directions as long as you let it suspend on the gel through legs of the electronics.The fact that this unit can absorb heat based on other units is a plus for hi-fi electronics.This pad is super sticky after peeling away the plastic and so I rubbed it with corn starch and dusted it off thoroughly to get rid of the stickiness. It has been easy to handle it since.

Original seat was so firm I was having crazy tailbone and lower back pain. Corbin seat priced out was about 850$ and figured I could at least try this first. Followed one of the many YouTube videos explaining and was fairly simple. I can ride for hours now with not the slightest discomfort. It’s held up excellent sitting out in the sun all day and keeps the seat cool while riding.
