It's a note book. Not much to say about a book full of paper. But the cover is made of fabric might not look or feel like it but trust me its fabric. Just ask anyone who has seen a two year old duty log. It's honestly a project to damage one you will lose it before you destroy it.

Great log books. Not spiral bound so you can't squish them. Big enough to have columns, but small enough to store in our glove box. Well made. Identical to the ones I used in the military.

These are definitely not waterproof. I was looking for an outdoor, waterproof notebook to do fieldwork, one that was inexpensive and was college ruled instead of having grids.It works well as a basic notebook. I'll admit, I left it on top of my car and didn't notice until hours later. It was run over several times. Some of the pages flew out, but the binding held most of the notebook together, thankfully.
