Do yourself a favor and buy this already!
I was skeptical when I came across this device, that it could actually make cold brew without the overnight โsteepingโ in the refrigerator. But lo and behold, the Vinci knows no boundaries! This is some of the best coffee I have ever had. The coffee is bursting with flavor, and very low acid. Crisp, clean and cold in 5-8 minutes for my light brew. From what Iโve read it would be about 20 minutes for the highest setting - โextra boldโ. And I love watching my cream mix with the cold brew. I got a coffee grinder with a coarse grind setting and just buy whole beans. Which is a little cheaper than buying special bags of cold brew coffee beans, and opens up a whole world of coffee flavor options. It does take a lot of coffee to brew. But you end up with a whole carafe of coffee that can be stored in the fridge in its lovely glass carafe. I would buy this a thousand times over. I am so happy with this coffee maker! Easy prep and clean up. But you do need to clean it out right away if you donโt want to clog it up. I will meticulously pamper this device until it dies, and then I will buy another. Vive le cafรฉ!

5 star product & service
Not only is this the best cold brew product I have ever purchased, the customer service exceeded my expectations. Bought as a Christmas gift, used once, and the product malfunctioned. Without hesitation, they got back to my message in a day and sent me a new one!

Money well spent. Once you read the directions, it's easy to use, and the cleaning process is quick and easy. Great tasting coffee; I use 7 scoops of coffee on the bold setting.

It works great and is very durable.
This is a great coffee maker. I love the quick way it makes just enough to last a few days and easy to clean I love it. The company is great to work with too.

Nice cold brew pot ...
Update... The motor finally broke. I could hear it and I did try to clean out everything to allow flow. Nope, it is broken. I cannot say I used it alot. In fact I only used it three or four times a month. I definitely followed directions. So I did have a professional electrician look and test. I watched him take it apart easily. Very sad. I though it was tiny grains getting stuck. The motor itself could not pump. what I heard was the motor. It just did not move. It made hum only. It tried to work. It just wasn't pumping like how it should have. When I first purchased... When I first viewed this cold brew pot, the thing that attracted me is the easy of use in making cold brew rather than doing the refrigerator thing. I use to put coffee grounds in a container with filtered water and close it up, shake it, then put it in the fridge. After 24 hours you get a cold brew. I would then strain it into another container where I could keep in the fridge for me to drink over a period of time. The one thing I hated was waiting. This little machine does the trick, until you place tiny grinds inside, which it tells you to avoid doing in the manual. If you grind your own beans and then start spooning in the grinds, you may get small particles that get stuck in the filter (blocks your filter screen). Whether I use grounds or make my own, I have to strain it to get small particles out so I can put into the filter. This allows for good water flow. So I make an extra bold brew with just tap water, as instructions say to do. It really does taste like what would take 24 hrs. I don't like make it sit like my friends do as it does not make the taste any better. So, you get a lot of the bitterness from the roast, so be careful in choosing your roast level, and the richness of the coffee bean flavor. It is not give the bite of an acidic coffee, which is the purpose of cold brew. This is not like what you get from other smooth coffees I've tried in the past, rather, it is much more shocking in flavor than the smoother ones. I suppose you'd have to get the same bean and roast as what you want to compare it to. Overall, this is still smoother than a regular cup of ground coffee. The balance of cream and sugar is arguable, but for the sake of mentioning it here, I would say the cream and sugar makes the flavor stand out in richness, like a milk chocolate candy. If you drink it black, it is dark chocolate like with the right roast. Choose a flavor of roast you like and compare with a regular cup of that same roast. I did so with Yuban and a strong decaf. Both had mixed results but I have to admit that the consistency is/was the richness of the roast I chose. The acid levels/smoothness/mix with cream/mix with sugar/mix with sugar and cream, the only thing that spoke out to me is that richness. If you do a light brew, you may as well drink black tea. Also, as a big warning, use the freshest roast you can and grind it only before you brew. Keep your beans air tight and in a dark bag. Do not freeze. Your coffee will come out more consistent in flavor every time. The older your beans, talking about 1 to 2 weeks old, you will start noticing a flavor difference and the smell won't be as strong. In fact if kept wrong, you will get more of a mushroom smell meaning the fungus is settling in on the beans.

I just can't seem to get a complete unit that works for more than about 6 weeks - I tried
I have to say that if I had done a review immediately upon purchase it would have been 5 stars. However, after just 6 weeks of use, it is no longer working. Yes, the light goes on and turns red, but nothing happens. I have cleaned it as per the instructions, and don't even use it every day, as it is just myself. I don't drink coffee every day, and I make a full carafe, which lasts me a couple of days. Of course, the 30 day return window is gone. I am very disappointed in this purchase. ** UPDATE 06/28/22 ** I contacted the company and they sent a replacement top/motor for the machine. I used it for the first time two days ago and all is working fine. The customer service was quick and very responsive. So, for now, I am changing my rating to a five, and will update in future to let you know if the new part continues to work as it should. And yes, I still love the coffee and that it is cold brew! **UPDATE 08/25/22*** Since my last update, I have had to replace the carafe which leaked. Now for the past week, the top /motor unit leaks coffee all over my counter while it is brewing. This is the second unit in 4 months time. It will not work at all as of this morning. The company has been very responsive every time I have reached out, but I just cannot continue to support this product. I will be looking for another cold brew machine. I wish I had not spent the money on this one.

Cold Brew Bliss
This is a game changer if you brew your own cold brew coffee. I was brewing a batch of cold brew every weekend by the 24 hour refrigerator method. It was delicious, but I ran out before the week was up and had to supplement my morning ritual with a coffee concentrate, which was delicious, but very expensive on a monthly basis. Then I found this little gem. I can brew two batches in less than an hour. (I use the extra bold setting because I like to have iced coffee with a little hazelnut creamer every morning/2 cups) Clean up is super easy. I don't have to filter the finished product, which was always a pain. I've read a few reviews saying the pump fails after a few months. I've owned mine going on two months now and everything is working great. It has a one year warranty, so I can get it replaced within that time frame, and to be honest, if if failed after 366 days of service, I would definitely purchase again. I love it that much. As far as taste, it makes a great brew. This has more to do with the coffee you choose. I've tried a dark roast coffee and found it was good, but not perfect. I use Bizzy smooth and sweet and it is delicious. I made a mistake on one brewing cycle. I brewed the first batch on extra bold as usual and then the second batch I forgot about and it sat on the counter for a couple of hours by mistake. I combined the two batches and the end result was some of the best cold brew I've ever made. Sometimes mistakes can be a good thing. Experiment with coffee and brewing and find what works for your taste buds. At any rate, this will make your brewing adventure so much easier.

VERY weak coffee. Even with X-Bold. Even when you brew twice. Even with VERY dark roast coffee.
This is super easy to use, but the result no matter how you make it is super weak coffee. No work around. I was disappointed but if you like light coffee this is a good product as its very easy to use and clean. I personally don't believe it was a good value for the money spend.

The idea is much better than the actuality
Like many others, I have been making my cold brew by stewing it over night. Which is great, but if you have guests, or are on a coffee bender, then you quickly drink it all, and have to drop back to making coffee the regular way. I spotted the Vinci though, and thought it was a great way to fill the gap. All the lovely cold brew taste, but in minutes, not hours. I've used it a handful of times now, and the coffee that it makes is genuinely great. No problems there. But the design of the machine means that prepping then cleaning up is a horrible messy process. Coffee, water and grounds everywhere. And the convenience of the quick brew, just doesn't offset the cleaning grief. I'll be going back to the regular cold brew pot. Edit: I used it probably a dozen times before mothballing it. And today, a few months later, I fancied an espresso martini, so dug it out to try. And it was broken (motor running, nothing pumped). Not great.
