Aran CraftsIrish Soft Cable Knitted Crew Neck Unisex Sweater (100% Pure New Wool)

No offense to my mother and grandmother who knitted me sweaters as a kid but this sweater is just better!Super stretchy, soft, light weight, non-constricting.It has a beautiful knitted pattern on front and back and the wool itself is gorgeous. I got the "Skiddaw" and it has flecks of black and rust brown in it.Absolutely impeccable product. I love it!

Firstly, let me just say that I think its a real shame that i have to buy from the mens side in order to get a good price on a wool sweater. This was on sale for $55; the womens were $100ish if im being generous. That said-- this sweater is nice.Its 100 percent wool-- so you get quality that you can keep forever if you wash it and takr care of it correctly (hot temperatures and agitation makes wool shrink into unwearable pieces. Absolutely DO NOT put in the washing machine. If you have to wash it cold water in a sink and then rinse, then lay flat to dry.)This sweater is a large and im a large woman-- 5'7 190lbs. I am long waist and thank the gods this sweater actually goes to my butt (another gripe, most womens tops dont reach my hips and im not even freakishly long waisted).Its more of an open weave/gauge so it actually breathes but is still warm. In the photo you can slightly see my pink floyd shirt-- youre going to want to wear a tshirt under this for comfort because of its "scratchy-ness" but come on its wool thats the price you pay for not wearing plastic.Wool is naturally water resistant, breathes better than polyester and acrylic, and can take one heck of a beating. Ill have this sweater until Im long gone. Its beautiful and well made.

I bought a similar sweater in an Irish store and paid over $100.00 There was no difference between this one and that: same degree of warmth, style, and softness.

The green is definitely more of a blue green color, but it is beautiful. Very well made. Very soft. Great price! 10/10 buy this!

I have one Aran Craft sweater I love but wanted different color. So I already knew about the quality of their products.The neck is a little tight but fits well.The seller kept me informed about shipping and it arrived a day earlier than expected

The recipient loves it. It is a perfect fit (men's medium) and looks fantastic on him. He says it's very warm, and is now his "dress-up" sweater. He sent me a photo but would not like me to show the photo. So you'll have to take my word for it-- it looks really very smart on him.

I’m 5’5”, 145 lbs and the small fit me perfectly. The wool is soft and the stitching looks amazing. I’m very happy with this sweater and will probably buy more. The price for a sweater of this quality makes it quite a bargain.

Estos sweters de Aran me encantan, el problema es que para lavarlos se debe tener mucho cuidado porque encogen, yo los lavo solo con suavizante, agua fría y vinagre, los dejo secar en una toalla y listo. Se deben quitar las bolitas con un quita pelusa y lo cepillo con uno de cerdas naturales, así se conservan bien.

Took a few days to arrive,but well worth the wait. Fantastic value for money. Lovely Aran design. So warm. Looks great. First time worn - chap came up to me in the pub to admire it! And to find out where I'd got it from. Superb quality.

Black watch, nicht schwarz. Eine sehr schöne Farbe. Ein wunderschöner, mittelwarmer Pullover. Nicht winddicht. Mit der Wolle muss man vorsichtig sein, sie ist sehr locker und kann auch reißen, wenn man irgendwo hängenbleibt, insofern kein wirklich toughes Teil. Und trotzdem ist es ein wunderbarer Pullover aus reiner Wolle und made in Ireland.
