A bit heavy for a plastic Christmas tree. Had to devise an ingenious way of using it without it falling off or looking lopsided. I used hair ties to secure it to the topmost middle piece of the tree then covered the hair ties with tree decorations . The light is pretty , but The cord is extremely short. Luckily i had a mini extension cord that worked perfectly. The star appears sturdy, but only time will tell regarding durability.Also, In case you’re wondering why my tree is up in mid November .. my 6-year old informed me that waiting till December to put up her new tree doesn’t give her enough time to enjoy it 🤣

I love this topper. I originally bought one exactly like this at a Rite Aid 15 years ago when I was in college with my boyfriend. Well, boyfriend turned to husband and the star was used every single year and abused when put away. Kids soon fell in love with it and demand it as tradition. Sadly when I put the tree up this year, I accidentally knocked the whole thing over and the topper met it’s demises. I was devastated.I found this one and it’s the exact same one. It may be a different brand but it’s the same star in every single way. It’s pretty indestructible unless you slam it on hardwood floors. It’s very pretty and simple. I have never used the green attachment that sets it atop the tree. The star is heavy and teeters so I just jam the topper between two star prongs onto my tree. It’s never been a fire hazard and makes it way sturdier and angles it nicely in the direction I want. It melds nicely with the tree without having the awkward green part spaced between the tree and the star. Ideally I hope to get another 15 years out of this new one.

Honestly this was my best on-a-whim Amazon purchase of 2022. This is a beautiful star, sturdy, bright and well-made. Perfect amount of retro feel. Only downside is I wish the cone it sits on top of fit the branches better, but nothing a little ingenuity couldn't fix. Would buy again, but I get the sense this will last a long time if stored properly back in it's box after Christmas is over. Would even consider getting in white.

Looks beautiful on my tree. Lights up nicely. I did have to fold down the top branch of my fake tree three times to make it thick enough to hold the star in place, and configure some other branches around it to help make it more secure, but it still has a tendency to lean over if you bump the tree even lightly. So definitely make that the last thing you put on, and if you have to add anything after that, be very careful not to shake the tree or you might be looking for a step stool or chair to reset the leaning star! I'm not sure if I like the looks of the green part that fits onto the tree, as opposed to the coiled wire type. I figured it would blend in better, not stand out as much as shiny metal, but it might be partly why it doesn't hold on too well. It's fine though. Overall it was a good buy and we like it.

Works well with our multi color bulb tree. We did however opt to not use the topper holder. Instead we zip tied the star directly to the top of the tree. If not, it would have been too high and looked odd. Really like it and like that it plugs in instead of being battery operated.

I was having the hardest time finding a star for my tree. The top of the tree had a little nub with a little branch with lights. Couldn’t find a topper that would fit or was light enough. This one is perfect. Looks much prettier on my tree and lit up. Might buy the multi colored one too. I love how the star has a front and back.

For some reason or other this star just stopped working the second night we had it up on the tree. Only lit for a few hours at night. Replaced bulbs, still not working. Is made of cheap plastic and is very top heavy. Had to zip tie it to the top of the tree. Looked pretty lit up, but when not lit the plastic looks cheap. I am not sure where all the positive reviews came from. In my opinion it is not worth $20.

But it was bigger and heavier then thought. It’s double sided with lights so it does need a sturdy branch to stay on top.

Cute star for my tree top. Nice and bright and colorful. Seems to be good quality. The shipping took a little longer than I would’ve hoped, but it was worth the wait.
