This is the worst product I've ever purchased
This is the worst product I've ever purchased. It was expensive and had to be bought. I was having surgery and the doctors demanded I use this type of bra for my recovery period. I thought at least I could still go on using it. After my operation I had it on for 2 days and I noticed the front fastening material was coming apart. I don't mean coming off the bra. It was firmly stitched on. The fastening material itself was disintegrating. I've never seen this happen before, miles of thread coming out until the two pieces no longer stuck together. I was in no shape to repair it and I'm too disappointed in it now to try. I don't recommend buying it.

Good pressure bra
Very good bra after mastectomy. I recommend washing it by hand at least the first 5 to 10 times, the velcro fasteners will hold longer and better then.

comfortable, but not for everyone
The medebra was exactly what was advertised. If you are on the borderline with sizes (I was a 34D) then you should order the next size up. I had the DIEP flap reconstruction, and my surgeon didn't want my breasts to be compressed after surgery. Even when using the large sized bra, my breasts were still being compressed, so I had to wear it open in the front, (only closed at the bottom). The velcro kept getting caught on my shirts. But, even with these setbacks, I found the fabric to be comfortable, and the bra was easy to put on after surgery.

Very nice, I found to run big, returned it and got medium

Runs Small!
Way too small. I normally wear a 36 D or DD depending on brand. I purchased this when I had a chemo port installed because regular bras and sports bras irritated the scar. It was not worth exchanging as I just don't have the energy for all that right now. I made due with what I had and thankfully work in a small office where nobody cared if I did not look great.

Save your money
I'm writing on my husband's account. Came home from the hospital in it. Material is soft and comfortable but the velcro closure in front doesn't stay closed after just wearing it a few days. Washed by hand and hung it up to dry. Took almost 3 days to completely dry. It's already in the garbage.

Question more than review
We bought the 38-40 for our mother, she is a 38DD, and this size was way too tight, so we are returning it. She actually has lung cancer and has a plural cathader and liked the bra and would like us to order one that fits better. What size would you recommend for her?
