seems good. hard to find astragalus without lead in it. mercola is the last source I would expect to find lead, but I will keep checking in case that changes

Packaging was good. Thr product inside was not. Atleast 20/60 tabs were broken in to pieces and powder. Very disappointed. How can you trust this vendir?

Astragalus is great support for the immune system which includes allergies, blood sugar and in my case, it has minimized my allergic reaction to the allergens in the area (which are many!) as well as lowered my bad Cholesterol and brought my good cholesterol to excellent levels and that is why I take it every day.Dr. Mercola has been around a couple of decades and is known for purity. This Astragalus extract is a standardized extract that is 1:1 so when it says 300 mg, it is 300 mg not 30:1. It's nice to know how much standardized extract is included without having to use a calculator.This comes in an amber colored glass bottle with a lot number and a best by date that is 6 months away.It is a tablet rather than a capsule or gummy but I haven't noticed any aftertaste.It is non GMO, Soy Free, Gluten Free, USDA Organic which is important today!However, this extract is pretty low strength and for the strength the pricing is high so I deducted a star for the pricing per strength.NOTE: If you are diabetic, be careful how much Astragalus you take and monitor your blood sugar carefully because it has a tendency to lower blood sugar. The higher the dose, the more it will bottom out your sugar so keep a close eye on that.I find that it really helps during allergy season to keep the allergic reactions under control without side effects.As I said above, I also find that it has helped my cholesterol figures.It does not happen overnight because when using herbs that is not how it works. It will take about 30-45 days to see the full effect. It will gradually build until that point, so don't expect it to work like an OTC drug. But it will be very beneficial over time. You didn't get to the point that you are overnight and it won't be cleared overnight.I would rather take a lower dose and take more than to try to deal with a huge dose and cut tablets or gummies.This Dr. Mercola Astragalus Extract is performing as it should and two tablets is just the right dose for me.

I have to admit that I never had heard of Astragalus Extract before using this supplement. After having some health issues, I have been researching natural ways to help my body and health. Astragalus came up in many of the articles as being an assist for the immune system and keeping blood sugar in check. I have been taking this product from 'Dr.Mercola' for about 5 weeks now. Last week I had a blood panel and my overall numbers were better. I am doing other things in addition such as a better diet and more exercise, but I am happy to think that Astragalus may be helping in some way. I am happy with this purchase.

This Astragalus root extract pill is top quality, made from the best encapsulation, and is very effective.. I feel healthier since i started taking it... it has helped with my respiratory system, im coughing less and producing less phlegm. I hear it is a great antioxidant which inhibits free radical production in the body... It helps the body not attack itself... i think anyone (adults) can benefit from taking this supplement and would highly recommend it.

I bought these because someone I follow online recommended this brand. I should have read the small print more carefully. There are all kinds of "other ingredients" including gum acacia, guar gum, sunflower lecithin, sunflower oil, and palm oil. All yucky to me. Unfortunately, Amazon will not even allow the return of an unopened item.
