Nice and cool

Bought this to replace an old Philips (Seasonal Specialties) "snow shower" projector which had been part of our winter holiday decorating for several years. That, old unit projected white spots of light on the front of the house, the remote worked great to speed up/slow down or if desired, select other colors of light (we used white). But it quit on us this year and it's sold out at the red bullseye retailer where we used to find these.I selected this one because it seems reasonably-priced, and seems to have a mode for white lights.We will see. The product sent me had no user guide and - more crucially -- no remote inside. Otherwise, it does work. Without the remote the instructions here on the Amazon product page aren't of any use. HOWEVER Amazon CS and the company contact have so far been extremely quick and effective, and I'm told to expect a replacement within days. I will revise or post an update after receiving the replacement. I am happy to see the details about operating it on this page because it seems these answer the questions that I (and others) might have.

My house backs up to a landscaped slope. Looks great during the day, but at night you just stare into darkness. The HOA maintains the slope, so I can't add Malibu lights or anything. Instead, I use this light to light up the slope. The light spreads out really well, adding glowing spots rather than defined stars, which is more of the look I wanted, as opposed to a 4th of July celebration all year long. Just adds some subtle nighttime interest to the hill. But if you point it at a closer surface, the stars are really defined, and it would indeed be a great July 4 decoration.

These are fun for all ages and they light up further than I imagined. They are a tad flimsy because they’re so lightweight but it doesn’t effect use. Great product!

Just as described. Wish it was a little more sturdy and it shakes when driving but ... Other than that. It's legit.

Just opened the box. The product description says " Indoor Outdoor" but the unit is powered by a USB cord that attaches to a charging adapter. It did not seem water tight to me. In addition, the description implies that you can change the color, but it seemed to me that it was always the mix of colors. The lights themselves are not tiny dots, but are instead little crosses/x's. I decided to return the item and left a three star review, because I did not like the product or the description. Seems straight forward, right?At that time the seller contacted us and offered to give us our money back if we removed our review. OK, whatever. The refund was never processed and the seller contacted us non-stop. I suspect they were trying to hold us off until we could no longer return the item. Eventually, we just printed a return and dropped it off at Kohls.I gave it two stars because the item did indeed turn on and function. But the entire experience is one that a subset of Amazon vendors seem to repeat.

This is the cheapest light I have brought & by far the coolest. I just got it delivered & can’t wait for my daughter to use for bedtime

These lights are easy to use and set up. Outdoors and indoors. Only wish that there were more light patterns to use rather than 4 provided.

I chose this item because the Q&A responses said that I could switch to only white lights by "pressing mode 4 repeatedly." This did not apply to my light at all, as there was nothing marked "mode 4" on the remote. I am still giving this light 3 stars, as it was easy to get up and running, and the multi-coloured lights are nice for summer (not Christmassy at all). Also, it's a good price. It would be helpful if the reviews and Q&A were only for this light. In fact, I hope it's clear which light I'm reviewing.

Do NOT waste your money on these lights. I bought three. They are BARELY visible. Cannot get them to be brighter. The sequence of settings is ridiculous. None of the three will work on together on the same setting. I feel completely ripped off.
