Maybe because I am older or something but I just don't like them. I end up pinching my skin and don't grab the hairs. Hard to use.

I’ve seen these tweezers for sale at other stores for as much as $39.99, so I thought getting them for $9.99 here was a no-brainer. Well…I immediately returned them.They are flimsy and cheaply made out of thin plastic and what is advertised as a “stainless steel-like material” is more like a weak aluminum.I’ve never used tweezers that automatically retract. I guess I was expecting them to quickly pull back on their own, but they just slide away as you pinch down.I never tested the light, as I did not want to remove the plastic covering that preserves the battery, although at first I thought the light was broken until I removed the battery cover.

I was very excited about these tweezers as I had a pair of retractable tweezers that I loved, but I guess I wore them out! When I saw these with a light, I thought they would be even better! So disappointed with them! The purple housing is so slick it’s difficult to use! My old ones had a bit of texture so they were easy to hold onto.

I tried using these tweezers to pluck my eyebrows and they didn’t work at all. When they retracted either the hair was cut off or not pulled out. Waste of money and since I am disabled I can’t return
