I corresponded with this company yesterday, and I'm very impressed! Start reading your labels on tapioca and boba because it's filled with chemicals BUT this tapioca is not. Between that and this being a small business, they have 100% of my support! It is not the large size of typical boba but hey, it works for boba tea, and it's healthy! I will absolutely be purchasing this consistently as it is excellent tapioca!

Item is extremely smaller than expected. Product photo is misleading!! Very disappointing!!!! It’s the tiniest bag of boba I’ve ever seen. It’s a rip off!!!

A family member used the entire package to make old fashioned tapioca which was very good. I would suggest preparing a smaller amount unless you have a large family gathering. If we make it again we would not only prepare a smaller amount we would also significantly reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe as a preference. We were not planning to use for boba but understand why some people made comments about the size of the prepared pearl. If you are expecting the gigantic boba like you get at the tea shops then you may be disappointed. However, this is the natural color and has a firmer consistency that is preferred by many. The online description says that it is kosher however the package itself says kosher sourced. but The package we had does not have any marking to indicate it is kosher certified. There was a comment in a review about cost however it is difficult to find large pearl tapioca and it seems the cost of everything is skyrocketing. It was a nice treat but the cost of large pearl tapioca from any of the vendors makes it a treat and not a daily use item.

We all fall asleep at the wheel occasionally which is probably why I didn't check the weight of this product before I shelled out seven dollars for six ounces of it. Seems a bit pricey, no? I'm not a fanatical purist but in this case I wanted pure tapioca without cornstarch, guar gum, potato starch, hydroxypropyl phosphate, sodium dehydroacetate, carboxymethycellulose Red No. 40 or Yellow No. 6, et cetera. I had to rinse these several times before the soaking water ran clear; odd, since they weren't (it said) packed with cornstarch. So . . . . unadulterated, but next time I'll go elsewhere.
