Finally! Needed this for bike rack hitch!
Searched all over town and on line to find a reducer from a 2" hitch to a 1 1/4" hitch. Even though this is exactly what I was looking for, the 1 1/4" bike rack hitch fits loosely and I'll need to McGyver the connection to hold the bike rack more snug so it won't bounce around. All other reducer's I've seen were extended too far out and would leave the bike rack another foot or so from my car.

Wasn’t a perfect fit!
I’m guessing it’s hard to fit everything when you have several different makers. Apparently everybody has a different idea of what two inches and an inch and a quarter are. It works

this item is not truly 1.25 all way through the inside of adapter. it only has metal insert half way. if you look at pic you can see second layer of metal. but the 2 nd inner layer only goes half way. which means item will still wobble badly. it will be tight but wobble. I had to finish the incomplete insert of metal with aluminum cut sheet so it doesnt wobble now. but it should have been complete. the picture is misleading which is why they only show one angle

Had to move the p[n hole.
This worked fine to reduce the hitch for my smaller trailer.

Works
Works good, definitely a bit loose on the 1 1/4 side. Did only come with one pin, but it was the small one, which was all I needed.

Doesn't come with 2 pins as stated!!
Item description said, and still says as of 3/28/18, that adapter comes with both 1/2" and 5/8" hitch pins. It only comes with the 1/2" one, so that's another expense. I'm never happy when a product's description is false and it's why I bought it.

SUPER wobbly. The bike rack I used it with had a good 45 degree tilt to the right when I went around corners. After shoving a washer between the adapter and the bike rack post, it was better, but not solid. It works. That's about it.

great adaptor
adaptor worked great - had to shim for a super snug fit.
