Kuhn All Copper Mask - 99.95% Pure Copper Mesh, Reusable, Self-Cleaning

This is the most breathable mask out there. It is easy to speak through and perfect for layering, as It is SO breathable (being simply a substantial yet flexible copper mesh) that I don't even consider it to be adequate protection. However, it is well-made and an absolutely PERFECT mask to wear under (or over -assuming that you don't mind looking a bit silly) a plain surgical or cloth mask for additional protection.This is precisely the sort of thing I'd like to add under my son's surgical masks, but it only comes in a large size! Given that children will be the last to be immunized and are the first to get (and spread) germs & viruses, this would be a perfect second line of defense to protect both them & those around them. Best of all, given its comfort & breathability, they would be unlikely to balk at wearing it under a surgical mask. You all are missing what should be your target market so, again, PLEASE consider making this in a smaller size for children!

I am a dentist in Seminole, FL. Phyllis K. (PK) as been my patient for several years. Last year, she introduced me to Well Mask, a copper mesh mask with highly cidal (killing) properties that destroyed most types of virus on contact. I wanted a product that would fit comfortably under a conventional mask, yet was soft enough so that the nose piece (thin aluminum wire on the top of the conventional mask) could conform to my nose.I tried several designs. She gave me a Copper Mesh Insert (CMI). It fit easily into the conventional mask and was secured by a thin strip of adhesive on the back of a piece of mole skin . I was able to press the conventional mask over my nose and stretch the bottom to cover my chin.Of note, the CMI was autoclaved with the mole skin attached and came out sterilized; the moleskin even retained its adhesive properties! PK advised me the copper self-disinfected within 15 min. Also, the entire Insert could be submerged in 70% isopropyl alcohol and then dried for rapid disinfection.She said the insert could be reused and that it would last two years with proper cleaning and storage. The CMI was perfect! I suggested some dental meetings to present the product. It would be ideal for adding an extra layer of protection when treating potentially infectious patients. It could also potentially protect patients from staff with respiratory infections. I consider this product a win-win, as it affords protection for the providers, as well as the patients.

I like the color and the tan border. Copper is an awesome color and I like the fabric border. I feel as though the copper is filtering my every breath and freshening the air which is awesome. However...Cons- it's hard and flat on the face, and heavy- there is a constant smell of pennies in your face- exhaling from nose can be seen in the mask so it makes you look like a breeding bull- inhaling through the mouth you get the taste of pennies- it's not soft, it's rough and scratchy & grates against the upper lip and upper chin, ouch!- metal is cold which doesn't work for the winter and it becomes cold and wet from talking/sweating- if you yawn or open your mouth, the mask moves up to your eyes or below your nose. you have to constantly adjust it- sinus allergy. gives that sinus pain that stings inside of your nose. according to instructions you're inhaling nano copper particles... not good for sensitive people.- turns green after 1st wash, moleskin peels after 1st wash

My husband and I have been using Kuhn’s Copper Mask and inserts for 8 months now. We wear them behind a cotton mask for comfort. My husband and I are in our 60's and we believe in the technology of copper as a biocide to viruses and germs. So far we have not had any symptoms . However, my husband has put the mask on at the onset of a scratchy throat, and the next morning he has had no symptoms of a cold. We prefer the copper mesh over other copper threads in masks as it provides full coverage . Going in to visit my mother-in-law 4 times a week in Independent Living, we wear the masks.We feel extremely safe with these masks and just purchased on Amazon now that they are available to us on this site. We wear them everywhere outside of our home and as we travel by airplane.Around 60-70 of my friends and family are presently using Kuhn's Copper Mask because they love it so much. Denise

Exciting option for mandatory masks, because you can actually breathe normally, speak normally, and both you and others are offered some protection against infection. But they're tiny, so if you speak much or show expressions, you constantly must readjust to cover your nose and mouth properly. The moleskin is brilliant, too. Love how you can fold it to perfectly contour to your physiognomy.It should be taller for proper coverage of all but the smallest faces, especially for the price. Perfect idea and construction.

I loved just putting it on and being able to breathe with the lungs God gave us. It is not a face suffocator at all! My only wish is if these could be made for Children as well and also, price is a bit steep. I would buy more if they weren't $30ea.. Imagine a fam of 9! I would love for my Children to be able to go to school again in these. Thank you SO MUCH!

Even after following the cleaning procedure there are still tarnish spots on the mask.It is easy to breathe.

What I don't like about other mask is that they are not breathable and they may be contaminated with black Crawley stuff.I love the fact that I can breathe through this copper mesh. And copper is anti-microbial so I feel safer.
