Great Shelf
This is great shelf. Easy to put together, sturdy, and good looking. Love it.

Deceiving poor quality
Such a disappointment. It is advertised as reclaimed wood. This bookcase has not seen a speck of wood in its life. It basically is a box of pressed particles covered with a very thin wood looking paper. The price is sky high for what it is. It is not even worth $50.

Wobbles
Update: After reinforcing the backing with better quality screws, it is much more stable. Not perfect and not a piece of furniture that can be relocated within the house easily, but it is much better now than when originally assembled. I have added a star as a result. It is a beautiful bookshelf and it was not difficult to assemble. However, it is not at all sturdy. It wobbles from side to side - not a little, a LOT. If I were to try to move it, it would likely collapse. I may see if a handyman can reinforce it, but why should I have to pay to make it usable? I may end up returning it. I haven't assembled the matching desk but now I'm worried about the sturdiness of that item too.
