This is the best mat for maj jong

The mat is very smooth and helps to make the tiles slide easily from one side of the table to the other. I would like it to be a couple of inches larger, but am happy with it. I do wish it came with a carrying tube for easier transportation to other venues, but it's not a big issue.

I like the mat but paid up for this because I wanted a storage sleeve. This is impossible to get back into the sleeve. I even tried rolling it with another person. I read that you are supposed to roll up the mat with the bottom on the outside so that it lays flat when you unroll it but the rubber on the bottom and the size of the sleeve makes it impossible to slide back in. I wider sleeve would be better. I will be returning this and looking for one that comes with something that is easier to manage.

It’s looks great, doesn’t slip and reduced the noise of shuffling the tiles.

Great for mahjongg! A bit slippery though

I use this mat for MahJonn.We players loved it very, very much. We got a kick out of how the tiles slid when passing them to each other.The mat was very well-made.The backing kept it from slipping off the table.Very happy w/this purchase.Liz
