Plásticos de regular calidad
Plásticos se notan de poca calidad. Tamaño inadecuado. Muy pequeño. Me lo quede por lo difícil que es conseguir productos acá y lo complejo que se ha generado con devoluciones por DHL.

Light weight helmet compared with Petzl Boreo
I ordered this climbing helmet in order to try and compare against the Petzl Boreo which is a sports climbing helmet too.Kailas helmet is surprisingly light and I mean it, you can barely feel it if not because of the chin strap. The suspension is well routed all around the head without being obstructive with ears and ratchet makes it a perfect fit with every click.I didn't see any padding using fabric which is good to stay away from absorbing sweet, all padding is a very soft and comfortable foam, easy to clean and disinfect. Also great for water sports if you decide to go river Kayaking, cave canyoning and every other scenario that includes water and humid environment. As a note Petzl helmet will include extra padding to replace after normal wear, not the case with the Kailas but this is not a show stopper.Helmet has a flashlight holder which is a must to work and climb in the dark. Also has a screw-in on the sides ear level if you want to add ear muffs mount.Price wise this helmet is in pair with Petzl but I have to recognize that Kailas is more eye appealing, far more comfortable. You can also consider and use this helmet as a bump protection when doing tree work or while working in the attic, etc.Very well recommended.

Fit was way off
I measured my head before I ordered and I had to return as this was clearly for a child, not an adult.

Good purchase
Comfortable and lightweight. Protected my head from an impact from a low cave ceiling. Good purchase.

Comfortable
I just used this for two days of climbing. It's much lighter than my current helmet and is comfortable. I can only assume it's as durable as advertised as I'm not going to test THAT. I'm happy to say this is my new daily helmet.

Not up to the task
Having trained in Wildnerness First Response and Search and Rescue Ops in locations where such a helmet would and should be used, I've worn various makes and models of reliably known and certified protective headgear. This isn't one I would use.Prime example, the protection provided by the exterior shell on bicycle helmets is openly acknowledged that ANY significant 'hit' can and will render the helmet unsafe for its intended use. There is ZERO padding or protection to the back of the helmet, meaning (and this is physics, folks) that a direct hit by any object at velocity or of mass will translate its force almost directly to your skull, and likely shatter or crack the helmet.1) This is the sort of kit handed out to tourists at recreational rope courses or zip lines...and as such would quickly become clear it's for looks/liability only.2) The padding is minimal and not adjustable for optimal fit, as will arrive with any reputable bicycle helmet.3) The outer shell is thin, bends easily, and would likely shatter. No documentation arrived with the product showing certification.4) The adjustable strap and fitting instructions are clear and easy to follow. That said, worn without a watch cap or some other 'buffer' headwear, this helmet still is ill-fitting and difficult to reliably adjust.5) Worn as suggested, you may look the part, but that's not the point of protective gear.6) I used protective helmets in cycling, sea kayaking, climbing, and wearing on SAR operations in mountainous terrain where rock fall is a serious issue and safely securing a scene where injury has occurred is a critical step in incident assessment. If someone handed me this before going out on an op, I'd look for the real thing and not some gear meant for appearances.7) My main response was that this is unsuitable for the uses for which it is being sold and I would not recommend it.

Very Lightweight / Strange Fit
I do not climb rocks, but I do hike and bike. Lightweight helmets are my best friends; this helmet is ‘barely there’ light. The material in this helmet has EN12942 certification for materials used in making helmets for climbing. There is also a similar CE 1015 certification, which is a European Union certification. It has a rigid foam lining with an adjustable chin strap and a knob in the back to make further adjustments. There are slots for goggles and headlamps. This helmet does not sit right on my head and may run a little small. I can get it tight enough, but it still sits high on my head. It feels very awkward, and it is not really comfortable. I use it on short bike trips, but I don’t think I would use it for more rugged adventures.
