I have very dry, very thick, very curly hair and tried a LOT of products. I am happy with this product as a leave in conditioner. I used it with wet hair (used just one squirt - less than dime size - rubbing in my hands before applying in my hair). I also used a very tiny amount of my curls amplifier with this product and could not believe how light, soft and airy my curls were (not heavy or sticky). I used it again the next day on my dry hair (which has always been a problem for me). This time I used about a dime sized amount (rubbing before applying). My curls bounced back except at ends (as usual). I used a very tiny amount on my ends and still my hair resisted. I ended up doing what I do, wetting my fingers through my hair and using a small amount of my curl amplifier on the ends. This worked and once dried, it left my curls airy, soft and light. I would recommend this product and will continue to use it because you don't have to use very much for it to work. It will also save me money because I hardly have to use any of my curl amplifier either. The first three pictures show the wet hair application (after it was air dried) and the last two showed applying to dry hair (again after it was air dried from my fingers applying some water to the ends). I really, really love this product. I have tried all the products in creation, just like all curly girls, and this one stands out as something special. I am using it in conjunction with Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper Original, 33.8 Ounce, and it's really working out well! I use the Curl Keeper first, and then squeeze out the water with my hands and an old tee shirt. I plop for a few minutes, and then put about a nickel-sized dollop of Dream Cream in my palm. I work it through. After my curls dry, I can actually use this to freshen them up. It's not nearly as oily as straight coconut oil, and it's got a nice fragrance.I had been using gel for ages, but I found it kind of got my curls sticky in a way that just didn't work right. Also, it took forever to dry with gel or else it was too crispy even after scrunching. (OMG it's like we have a different curl language!) With these two products, my hair is soft and the curls have good slip. I am not one of those curlies who hates 'cones, for reference. Also, I am Caucasian and have curls down to the small of my back. Fine hair, but tons of it. The top is less curly than underneath, but I'm just going with it.

My dry, frizzy, naturally curly hair has found its soul mate!! My hair is long, (small of my back long, & thick as a wool blanket) and I color it every 7-9 weeks. Gina, this stuff has transformed my unruly hair into submission! I can't BELIEVE the difference! Soft, pliable curls that take a good 6 years off of my face. I'm just kicking myself for not doing a before and after pic!! Thanks so much for a fantastic product! A product that does much more than promised. After coloring my hair, it didn't change for the worse! Unreal! I love it! I'm also very grateful to have read the reviews that brought me to you and my "dream curl cream"!! Excellent product, and I will be buying it from now on. Yippee!!!

This product works well on my wavy, sometimes curly hair. I use one pump for my hair that is below my shoulders and thick. Keeps the frizz at bay and when used with a defuser on my blow dryer, adds LOTS of curls. When my hair is left to dry on it's own, I have nice soft full waves.

I've tried sooooo many curl products over the years and hate them all!! This one is by far the best. My curls are soft but held perfectly all day and the biggest bonus of this product (I use their curl gel as well) is that because there is no crispy build up I can skip a day or 2 washing my hair! I add a little more of this in the morning along with the Royal Locks spray and my curls look good as new!

This product does help the curl in my hair some, but it does make it feel really dry. The smell isn't bad but it does have a sticky residue. When I touch my hair, after it has dried, my hands are sticky. I don't like that.

I have tried so many anti-frizz products from expensive salon products to drug store brands and nothing compares to Royal Locks Dream Cream. I have natural wavy hair on top and curls underneath but without product it's just a huge frizz ball. Dream curl defines without being greasy or crunchy and doesn't weigh my hair down. It dries to soft natural beachy curls. I get compliments daily all thanks to this product! This picture attached was after a full day of my hair blowing in the high winds of the Colorado mountains. A little goes a long way so the price is very fair. So glad I found this product!

This product is non damaging to my curly hair, makes my hair feel soft and as you know that’s hard to do with curly hair.
