Used this my motorcycle that I just purchased. The motorcycle had been sitting for 23 years. All of the old wrapped insulation had crumbled. I used the tape and sealed the wiring harnesses. I've purchased silicone tape in the past that you really had to stretch to get it to adhere to itself. This tape was very tacky and worked better than expected. I did not have to stretch it to get it to stick.

This self fusing tape works well and at a reasonable price, much lower than the national brand I had before.

This is the first time I've used silicone tape and I think it's great. I had some wire wrapped with electrical tape that was getting gooey and the tape started sliding along the wire. I decided to try silicone tape and it works like heat shrink tape but without the heat. It bonds to itself like glue and is very elastic, making it possible to wrap something very tightly and completely sealed. I'll never use electrical tape again.

All I was trying to do was patch a pinhole in my hose where a rose thorn had punctured it. No matter how I tried to put the tape over the tiny hole, all it did was push the water down. THe tape never made a good seal on the hose. Returned item

Remember to takeoff the backing tape. When this tape is stretched out it sticks to itself and bonds very well.

This tape was very eat to work with and had been holding strong for a while

I really wanted this stuff to work on my leaking plumbing fixture. There was a pinhole leak in the spout of my kitchen faucet. Plenty of access to the leak, allowing cleaning the spout, stretching and wrapping of the tape. All it did was leak at the top and bottom of the wrap instead of at the pinhole. Such a disappointment. I had hoped to put off the plumber a week or two, but I guess faucet replacement is in order sooner rather than later. I gave it 3 stars because I can envision other uses for this tape that would be awesome, but waterproofing plumbing does not appear to be one of them (at least not for my application).

This product is reasonably priced and shipping was lightning fast! I used this tape for a small repair on my boat and it worked like a charm! The tape is super strong and so easy to use. I would recommend this to everyone! Five star product for sure!
