Heavy duty construction. Seems well built. Used it to put new holes in a rubber watch band. Worked very well. Giving it 4 stars only because each punch die is not labeled. You can figure out the size of each punch die being that you know the range of sizes that this punch comes with.It would just have been nice if they were indiviually marked. Punch also comes with a screw driver, an extra base plate as well as a cyclindrical rasp file to clean out and re-hone/sharpen each die.*TIP#1: Put a thick piece of cardboard or 5 sheets of paper on the bottom of what you are looking to punch through. This allows the punch to go completely through your item for a clean sharp punch and also helps to keep down the wear and tear on the punch strike plate.*TIP#2: Work from the good side down. Punch your hole through the finish side down. This should help avoid any messy end cuts.So far so good. I would definitely purchase this item again.

For the price of this tool I was pleasantly surprised. It's well made and punches even thick leather with ease. I had two thick expensive leather gun belts that I needed a couple of additional holes put in as I have lost over 75 pounds. This thing punches through it like butter. I also liked the fact that it came with a nice little ruler to measure the holes apart, an extra punch plate and a sanding rod/awl. It's hard to believe someone could manufacture a quality tool set like this for the incredibly low price. The only minor complaint I could make is the instructions are not written well. I found the punch plate installed counter clockwise when shiped, but they even include a small Phillips head screw driver to turn or remove the plate.It wasn't obvious to me on how to close or lock the tool after using it. I discovered that you had to turn the punches in between individual punches to close the handle. These minor issues are not enough to take a star off due to the low cost and high performance of this tool.Highly recommended.

I struggle with shoes being a size 10 but not having wide feet. Often heels I try have straps that are too loose although my foot fits fine. I bought this hoping to find a way to get neat looking holes to extend my straps. Lo and behold this worked perfectly. It’s heavy - works well and punches clean holes. 2 pairs of shoes just got added to the rotation again for me !

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is cheap plastic. I have attached a pic of the first and only use, in which the punch part became embeded in the plastic base and is unable to be retrieved. I am not strong by any means, and I was attempting to punch a hole through a soft sponge(!) for a project I am doing.The instructions state to note the 'arrow' on the product, but there isn't one. Really just a cheap Taiwanese piece of junk. Returned for refund.Update: This company tried to pay me off to remove my negative feedback. Reported to Amazon.2nd Update: They sent me another email bribing me with $30 Amazon gift card if I would remove my negative feedback. DISHONEST SELLER. REPORTED TO AMAZON, FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH.

Very happy with this punch. I used it to add an extra hole to my purse strap. The hole is a tad bigger than the others but the next size down was too small. Lots of hole sizes to choose from. I put a piece of thin cardboard below the strap when I punched the hole, as suggested in the directions.

I ordered this to shorten a couple leather belts but was nervous because I don't have a lot of hand strength. NOT A PROBLEM! It is easy to operate, even for weak little me, and Everything you need is included. Two belts adjusted and back together within five minutes! Speedy delivery too! If your too long belt has a little screw fastening the buckle down and you're looking for a leather punch, get this one - it's GREAT!

Works well and easily cuts through leather. I wish the smallest hole was smaller. I am using this to make earrings out of pieces of leather. And the hardware for the ear wires and jump rings is smaller than the smallest hole. So it leaves a little Gap. It's not the worst I just wish it was a tiny bit smaller so you really couldn't see the hole in the leather at all. Seems pretty durable.

I've been using my great-grandad's leather hole punch, which is somewhere around 120 years old, and Hadd become too blunt to punch holes. This new one is a superb replacement and even comes with a 'needle' file to sharpen up the punches, once they've been used lots of times. The needle file also acts as a rod to eject any punched material such inside the punch. And a handy, 6 inch, rule, for ensuring each new hole is the same distance apart as all the others. Neat!A stout cardboard box means all the tools can be kept safe together. So I give it 10 out of 10 and good value for money.

I brought two belts, however they were to long and needed more holds. This punch head turned around so you can find the right size for you. And because it's a punch, it makes the perfect circles.

Why is this not something that I have had in my wardrobe for ever. So useful to be able to change the way a belt fits or a bag hangs over my shoulder. It's easy to use and yet sturdy enough to last. Perfect tool for the job!

Really heavy duty. Better quality than I expected. Really easy to make new holes in my leather belt. They are clean holes too.

Feels robust and is easy to use. Cuts nice square edged clean holes when new but I can't say how long it will stay sharp for. Useful tip to place a piece of cardboard under the item to be punched to preserve the life of the hole cutters.
