Hekate: Goddess of Witches

Extremely informative, quotes all her sources and very insightful. This is the BEST BOOK I’ve read on Hekate yet!! I’m learning so much more about Her. Excellent book to own as a follower of Hekate.

Having been a Devotee to Hekate for only over a year (but a practicing Witch for almost two decades, this June), this has got to be one of the very best books I have ever read on the subject of Hekate and Witchcraft. I only wish I had given it a fair chance, last year. I feel that if I had, I definitely wouldn't have had as many hiccups in the beginning as a new Devotee. It took me way too long to get in the groove and I found myself wasting a lot of time and resources on items that truly didn't matter, including other books.I honestly didn't give this book a chance because of the cover (I know, I know--you can't judge a book by its cover), however, in the day and age of marketing, I found the image on the cover to look like something I would see on a Facebook page meme. It looked more "Modern Witchtok" than "Useful knowledge regarding an Archaic deity."However, cover aside, it's a fantastic book and if you are new to Hekate, please, PLEASE give this book a read before any other author..sincerely!

I love this book. It's got lots of good information from going over what Hekate was associated with in ancheint times to experiences people have with her today. It really helped me understand her and the symbolism better. Highly recommend

I enjoyed reading this book and learning more about Hecate

This is a book I didn’t realize I needed until I truly begin reading it. I have enjoyed learning the historical and modern knowledge on the goddess, but split into so many aspects about her. Weber gives us Magick in this book of tells from the past to present including her personal shares. The spells in respect with knowledge about the goddess is the cherry on top! This book is a guide almost to a better understanding of this deity (and others). This book is a gem! 🖤

I like the way Courtney Weber organized this book, she did it in a way so you not only learn a lot about Hekate but if you want to add Hekate to your path and get the good understanding of what she likes and dislikes you gotta buy this book. Great job Courtney!

I'm not done reading the book yet, but it's very good. it teaches legit informations about Hekate often with sources cited. it also talks about modern examples or anecdotes so that we can further connect and relate with the goddess, and theres many amazing rituals that can be as simple or as complicated as the practitioner wants. good for both beginners and advanced witches/worshippers. Bom livro para iniciantes na Magia... Há outros com um arcabouço de conhecimentos mais consistente e aprofundado... Para quem busca um material mais "pesado", *The Temple of Hekate* ou *Hekate — Liminal Rites* são mais recomendáveis...

Required reading for any Hekatean witch or for anybody looking to learn about such a beautiful mysterious goddess, blessed be.

It is a very nice book to learn about hekates history but unfortunately the spells are voodoo spells so not doable for me
