IKONARTStencil Making Sheets, Blank 10" x 12" Reusable Stencil Material for Smooth Surface - Blue, 25 Sheets

I make small (5x7”) stencils to sell to other crafters. There’s definitely a learning curve but I didn’t ruin too many sheets to get the hang of it.I haven’t found anything else like it, especially with the adhesive back. Many uses or over rinsing/soaking does mess with the adhesive, but following the instructions helps to reduce this issue.I’ve also noticed that as I move through the pack, once I get about half way through the sheets become less photo sensitive and require less exposure time, probably just from the accumulation of exposure from opening the package multiple times.The Facebook group is incredibly helpful, too.I’ve definitely purchased multiple times and will continue to do so.

Love these 25 count packs. We found Ikonart at the beginning of 2021. It’s become addicting (We’re already on our 5th pack!) and far more affordable than other pre coated emulsion screens on the market. They make silkscreening easy for small business owners and your everyday DIY’er.

I have a laser machine that I cut acrylic and wood with, so I apply custom stencils to my signs. They are reusable and the ikonart machine is so easy to use.

I want to save you all a headache because if you are not using the light kit from Ikonart you will not follow their exposure time. They say 45 seconds for exposure but for a photo bulb you actually have to expose it for 9 minutes. They don’t tell you anywhere on their packaging that you have to use their light kit to have that exposure time give the correct results. Additionally, even with the 9 min exposure time, I cannot get small details to wash off with a rinse and the ends are not crisp (even though I taped everything down). Lastly, you have to wash them after every single use and wait for them to dry if you are using underglaze. I reached out to the sellers for help and to ask for a partial refund as I wasted a quarter of my package trying to get these to work correctly and they played the blame game. Not cool. I am going back to Speedball.

I make custom signs and really thought this was going to help make things easier for the $300 that I spent on the film the White machine and paper I am so let down it was very easy to make the stencils do not get me wrong that’s not my problem my problem is the paint bleeds so bad I’ve had to sand down and wipe off paint so many times off of my custom-made signs it’s not worth the time nor the energy it’s easier to use and go back to the way I was doing it. I’m so disappointed
