I bought this flashlight because I prefer LED flashlights to incandescents, but most of the common units available from retail stores have multiple small LEDs and use three AAA batteries. As a result, they aren't very bright. This flashlight and similar offerings on Amazon are much brighter and are good replacements for older and larger incandescent or "krypton" flashlights. The front lens also adjusts the size of the beam. This model does come with a battery holder for three AAA batteries, but best performance comes with a single 18650 Li-Ion battery.

great little flashlight that does the job, really bright compare to those LED lights bought from Home Depot. Five different modes to play with, high, medium, low intensity, flashing light, and SOS signal which would be helpful if looking for a rescue. The light is also zoomable so you could focus for far away. All in all a great bang for the buck especially when it's on sale.

The flashlight was packed well and the shipping was fast. The flashlight is light to carry. I used 3 aaa batteries (not included) and the light was bright, but honestly not as bright as expected. I don't know if the brightness will differ if using a rechargeable battery. You have to pull the head farther to adjust the focus. Well, I didn't notice the instructions online and there was no manual in the package so this took me a while. Anyway, it still will have a lot of applications at home.

The best flashlight ever! Super bright in its compact size! This flashlight is a must have for anyone who's looking for a flashlight. The flashlights fits easily in my backpack, car glove compartment and toolbox. Fits in your hand perfectly, the lumens to me is even brighter and the material its made of is solid. We tried other flashlights and they just didn't hold up..

For the price, I couldn't find a better product. Living on 40 acres out in a rural area, you rely on good lighting not being by any street lights. My only issue so far is the flashlight loses juice quicker than most but it's expected with how bright it is.

theres a lot of talk over the actual lumens in this flash light. I can say honestly it is way brighter than my 800 lumen flashlight. but for all I know the advertised 800 lumens is also incorrect. in which case I dont know whats real anymore

This is the brightest flashlight I have ever had. The flashlight is also very well constructed with a high quality aluminum case. I definitely recommend the rechargeable batteries due to the extended life of charge.

Just received this item. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. It's no better than a previous purchase with the exception of the AAA battery option. As it turns out, it's just a newer version of the previous purchase. Even has the same Model number. My main issue, is why isn't the description on Amazon complete? The additional description indicates that a battery is not required, funny. A flashlight that doesn't include batteries and doesn't need any. I missed the fact that it has multi switch options of strobe and SOS. Can I get a light that has a simple on/off switch? I don't need all the other stuff, especially the strobe and SOS. Not sure about the waterproof, didn't care about that. If all of the above is something that you need, then it seems like an OK light.
