Great stuff- Highly recommend
Adhesive is very good. I over cleaned and prepped the area, on my 13 year old motorhome awning, to get the best possible results as I can not afford to replace it, right now. Also was apprehensive as to how well the product would work even though reviews were good.Area of the tear was above the entrance door which is also at the end of the awning and within 2 inches of attachment to the motorhome. Wind puts alot of stress on this area. I washed and rinsed top and underside of awning with hot water, dawn dish soap and a rag followed by a rinsed rag to remove soap film 3 X on both sides. I then wiped the same areas with rubbing alcohol 2 X allowing drying between all 5 steps. I applied with 3-4 inch of tape bypassing the actual tear on all sides, top and bottom of the awning.I purchased de-flappers and installed after repair was done, as well.Three days later with awning fully extended an unexpected wind came up with 20+ mph and gusts up to 30 mph. Couldn't close it during wind without fore surely damaging the entire structure so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the bestMade it through 4-5 hrs of strong wind without any problems!! Very pleased and would highly recommend.

did the job!
Update-it lasted. The patched pieces were still in working order one year later. We decided to sell the camper so we went ahead and replaced the awning fabric, but the tape had not given up. Very pleased with the purchase.Original review:I can't vouch for its longevity, but we used this to piece together an awning that was in pretty bad shape. We didn't have time to replace it before our trip. We cleaned thoroughly with acetone and allowed it to dry. The rips were taped off and are very secure. I would definitely purchase again if I had another patchable tear. It has held up fine for the month that it has been on the trailer with no sign of the edges coming up yet.

Didn't use it on an awning, but it worked great for our waterproofing application
Phenomenal waterproofing and repair tape... for our application! We had a need to do a short term, quick, repair to a shoddy neo-angle (big box home improvement store) shower floor, that had developed several cracks over the past few months. The surface was cleaned, tape was neatly and cleanly placed over the small cracks, and it has held up for the past 45+ days. The corners are not yet peeling, and the water still beads off the tape cleanly. This is quite impressive for tape that is subjected to daily showers and constant soaking (one is right next to the drain and is therefore almost entirely under water for the duration of any shower). Not sure how it will hold up on fabric, but on clean plastic that is constantly drenched, and sometimes submersed, it does a fantastic job.

Went on well
We only had a small area to repair. We cleaned the area carefully, cut the tape to be a little longer on either side, and carefully applied on. Went on well. We put on top and bottom. Very happy with how it went on. Only gave 4s because we dont know how well it will last. Seems great.

Worked
This did go on easy. We cleaned the area first before applying. It lasted for a 1 time use before we saw it was already lifting off.

Works good.
Consider ordering the 2" instead. This 3" is hard to get to lay flat on your awning. It holds for about one year then starts to peal off. I would recommend this product for a quick fix on a tear or hole.

Great Product. Worked for me!
Easy to apply and appears durable. I hope that this will allow me to get another year or two out of my RV canopy. Like many canopies, it is showing wear after 8 years of UV exposure where it attaches to the camper. This appears to have added some strength to the canopy and I like the clear tape. Can't see it unless you know it is there.
