Valeo clutch 52281201 way too thin
This clutch is way too thin... It'll probably need to be replaced in less than a year with modest to normal driving, aggressively driving probably in a 6 months. Replacing this clutch in my case was very labor intense, not too difficult, but you had to take almost the complete car apart. Also, it didn't come with good instructions. The alignment tool was missing and on the description on Amazon it said it was included. I was able to installed with out one, but I wish the instructions were more specific. I would not recommend this clutch for a Mini Cooper and if I was doing this again I would look for a more robust one because as I said, this looks like is made for a toy car.

As far as I can tell, this is OEM or exactly the same as OEM. No issues here. I've installed several for people.

Fits 2007 Mini Cooper S
Clutch fit well and had all required hardware. It did not have an alignment tool, but I used a socket and extension to center it. Clutch feels like stock. After install, I drove the car from N.Y. to Chicago. Even in the Chicago traffic the new clutch held up well.

No alignment tool in this kit
No complaints, works as expected. Alignment tool not needed, also not supplied in this kit. Use a 5/16 deep socket and 3 inch extension in place of alignment tool, if you don't have one.
