Easy to work with if the tuners aren't satisfactory.
Just note they're 8mm not the standard 10 mm, but they're pretty good, a couple of mine were defective, but they sent me some replacements, and I'm happy with my purchase now.

Fits Indonesian Squier Strat
These tuners are ever-so-slightly different from other semi-enclosed tuners that advertise as drop in replacements for Squier strats. On my Indonesian-made Squier strat, the tuners are pointier on the sides, like these are. Other Squier tuners have a slightly more straight edge on the sides and DID NOT FIT my strat.My best recommendation for fit: look at the shape of your tuners. If they look like these, then these will probably fit.The tuners themselves aren't a revelation or anything, but they work and are smooth enough. Best of all, they're not broken: I only bought these to replace tuners whose knobs crumbled apart after so many years.

"Chrome" flaked off while installing
Parts installed and work very smooth. Strings are held and stay in tune fine. Covers came off to allow vintage open gear look.Glad this wasnt for a client though, silver/chrome flaked off the last tuner at the very end. Otherwise a nice set.

Fits 1997 Squier Affinity Stratocaster and 1996 Squier Stratocaster
Drop in replacement for my 1997 Affinity Strat. Used my previous screws and bushings. Very happy I didn't have to drill holes. Smooth turning. Update: I've also installed gold ones on my 1996 Squier Stratocaster. These also dropped in smooth and look great!

Good value
Was actually surprised. Read some reviews that they aren't the best quality, but the set I received works well on my strat. Smooth turning. No slipping of sticking of the gears. Stay in tune well for not being being locking tuners. Gold finish is ok. Looks like in the pics...more of a satin gold.

Garbage. Won't hold a tune. Don't buy this.

Cheap improvement
Wanted some cheap tuners for my Sears catalogue strat clone with 8mm holes and there didn't seem like much to choose from but these had the same shape as the ones already on mine so I figured I'd try them. Easy install and I didn't have to worry about enlarging the peg holes or anything.
