Mostly great... with that odd purple stuff
These flavors were hit and miss. The butterfly one has hardly any taste at all, even with 5oz in a glass with nothing else. But the ginger beer one is delicious and strong. It made no sense to me but the ones that had actual flavor we're good. We use them with soda stream water and some liquor to make fancy drinks at home with less junk in them. The kids really like some of them as well!

Good not great - nearly impossible to get out that artificial sweetener flavor
If used in proper proportion (probably less than any recipe would call out), these work pretty well. If you are sensitive to artificial sweeteners, you won't like them as much as you want to but can probably get by in limiting the amount to use. I've used for both low carb cocktails and mocktails. The butterfly serum is very good (no sweetener at all in that one, so all upside) and just fun to have blue and purple in a drink to distract from the "off" flavor. I think these are better than average and rated them such.

Zero Carb, Keto Friendly
I've been on a keto friendly lifestyle for the past 6 months to try to help reverse diabetes for a special program I'm on. I found this four pack of no sugar syrup that can make some pretty darn good no carb cocktails. So far I've tried the tonic syrup mixing it with club soda in a gin and tonic and it was pretty darn good, very similar to light tonic but I can see myself getting used to using the syrup. Also tried the ginger syrup which is great in a Moscow mule and that is pretty true to taste

Mildly flavored - 3 out of 4 were good
I got the ginger beer, butterfly truth serum, sun goddess lemonade, and lime margarita. I tried them all in 3oz of plain soda water starting at 1/4oz of the flavoring and going up to 1oz. After trying them all individually at those ratios as-is, I then added a few drops of liquid monk fruit sweetener that I had on hand. The added sweetener improved them all. I’m reviewing these from worst to best, starting with The butterfly truth serum. It’s got a very odd smell, especially if you take a whiff right out the bottle. To be honest, if you’ve ever been to a bat enclosure at the zoo that’s kind of what it smells like—fruit that’s been processed through a living thing (sorry, but that’s truly what it smells like). The color is sooo pretty though. The flavor is not sour (which is what I was expecting from other reviews I read). It has a diluted floral/herbal, bitter taste but I think it’s so mildly flavored that you have to add quite a bit more than the other flavorings to get to the core of the flavor (if that makes sense). They don’t add any sweetener to this one so I added my own and it was tolerable. I will say that it’s fairly easy to cover up the flavor—the smell, not so much. But what I like about it is that I can add even a few drops of this to any drink and change the color a little without messing with the flavor too much as long as I use just a few drops. Personally, it’s not for me.Ginger beer smells of strong ginger in a pleasant way. The smell is stronger than the flavor but somehow, even with that mild flavor, the ginger leaves a nice kick in the back of the throat. It’s mildly sweet and was greatly improved when I added some additional sweetener. I would buy this again if I was in a ginger mood. The sun goddess lemonade has a mild lemon, aroma and flavor. It is very cucumber forward (emphasis on the skin of the cucumber as the predominant aroma and flavor); however, the lemon is there too. It is mildly sweetened so I added more sweetener and the flavor was better for it. I would have preferred a more tart, lemon-forward lemonade; however, this will do and maybe I’ll squeeze a little bit of fresh lemon in the drink just to give it a little more lemon-y boost. I’ll buy this one again.Lime margarita. This one had the most pleasant aroma and most accurate flavor. It’s lime all the way. I still had to add more sweetener to appease my taste buds but I enjoyed it the most and will definitely be getting it again.

Excellent Soda Stream drinks
I don’t do sugar nor alcohol (sigh) and for ME this has been a great find. Might complaining people be sugar people? Because MY experience is nothing but fun. Think going into a mixologist’s bar and serving you the most interesting and satisfying drink in YEARS. And yet we get to do it from the luxury of our home and not at $10 per drink (including tip).

So good! People need to know about these items!
I am trying to watch my sugar intake as well as my alcohol intake, so I’ve found some amazing zero-proof spirits (primarily gin and tequila) that I’ve been mixing with standard mixers. The problem is, standard mixers are loaded down with sugar at BEST! Along comes Top Hat! This gift set is a dream come true! Since I’ve never experienced anything like this, I will admit there is a bit of a learning curve with mixing these properly. You don’t need that much! One ounce of the tonic syrup mixes with five ounces of sparkling water to make an amazing tonic mixer! I just got done mixing up a batch of this and using a funnel to pour it into a bottle that I can keep in the fridge for easy use. The ginger beer syrup and margarita mix are similar…you need to mix them correctly or they’ll be too strong, which makes this an amazing value in addition to being a great product! The butterfly truth serum is super cute—it doesn’t taste like anything, but the botanicals it’s made with just make a fun purple/blue beverage that can cheer you up after the most arduous workday (I personally like to add a dash of it to my gin and tonic!). Whoever thought to make this batch of wonderful products, THANK YOU! And please keep it up with your amazing and forward-thinking creativity!

Two are XLNT, one is Good, and one is Just Wierd...
The ginger and the tonic concentrates are TOTALLY wonderful. The margarita mix is not realllly a concentrate (and is -not- stated to be so) but it is also tasty. The BUTTERFLY TRUTH SERUM....is just....I dunno. It does not suit me but mebbe I am doing it wrong? I really don't have any idea what is the BEST use for it.
