I had originally rated this product a 3 stars due to a faulty cord/connection, including in my review the reason the product did not work, a faulty cord/connection. A couple of weeks later, after my online review the seller, Gear Light sent me an apology letter and a new cord! I was pleasantly surprised. :)The product works as advertised. It is compact, clips to my iPhone, iPad, laptop, whichever I am using for my meeting. It has 3 light settings.I think the product was great originally, I was just disappointed it was defective. I am happy the company recognized this and sent me a new cord to correct theI would recommend this product and company. Kudos to their Customer Service team in following up to my review and turning around my experience.

Bought this year for some extra lighting during residency interviews which are all via zoom this year. The light is very bright and crisp, and it works okay for what it is, but there are two major design flaws: one, when using as intended with the device on the edge of the computer lid around the camera, the bright light creates large, highly distracting reflections on glasses lenses if you wear them. I solved this issue by taping the light to the top of a tall stand behind my computer - it still lights up my face well, without creating much glare. The other major issue is the battery life. After about 45 minutes of use the light becomes so dim it basically isn’t even working anymore. Still I’d say it’s worth the money.

A very nice little light that gives a choice of three choices of light color settings, is easy to use and fits nicely to the top or side of my iPad without tilting or sliding. I have found it useful for evening meetings that take place online, when the outdoor lighting or windows are bright at the beginning of a meeting but have darkened after sunset when the online meeting continues. Can be used either plugged in or for quite a while with just the stored charge. I find it useful as well to hang on a handle of one of my kitchen area cabinet doors when I need extra face-high light for a online Tai Chi meeting (during pandemic in-person meeting restrictions.)

The light clips on easily to my Dell laptop and gives 3 color choices. If you sit close to your computer, the brightness lever works. If you do a virtual meeting with 2 people sharing a computer, the light isn't as effective. It is an inexpensive light that does provide helpful illumination but don't expect miracles.

Love this little light, it has 3 lighting choices, comes with the charging cable. Only thing I found was it wears down fairly fast but I solved that by leaving it plugged in with the cable to my usb port while in use.

My daughter was very excited for this! She said it's so much easier to us3 than her big one on a tripod

The spread of the light and size of this is inadequate for video conferencing

Brightness is great - I always turn it down a lot. It is a little awkward to operate, I often accidentally turn it off, and have to start over. It's simple, but maybe my fingers can't follow directions. Too many functions on a single button. But of course, considering the size and placement, you can only really have one button.A better solution would be a remote control, and steps for color temperature as well as brightness... But for the price, who can complain?
